Was pumping gas next to me. Owner was very happy w/50MPG; did not like going to dealer for N in tires. I do not think that is required. But was wondering if N is worth it; anybody?

what? This person goes to the dealer they bought the vehicle from to fill the tires with nitrogen when they get low?

am I reading this right?

Bottom line = nitrogen leaks out slower than oxygen because it's molecular size is 0.006 nanometers larger. Also Argon would be even better as it's molecular size is 0.064 nanometers larger.

It makes a difference in race vehicles, not so much on street cars.

I think this is accurate. I believe the pressure is less sensitive to heat with N, thus better for race cars who have hot tires and a few psi can make a difference.

Getting knee deep here with all gasses and nanometers. If memory serves me correct, but I could be wrong, good old air has worked well about 100+ years.

You are absolutely correct, as I said, but in race cars it matters and has been used for decades but it is only used by "good old boys' who win LOL
