Well, seeing there wont be a carryover I guess, I'll place a second order in july and see if one will get made. Wonder what new things 2024 will bring other than a price hike.

I’ve already lost hope, been waiting since October 2021. I went into Toyota a couple weeks ago and put in a order for a 2023 Tacoma TRD OR in Lunar Rock.
I never liked Ford but I decided to give them a chance because of the maverick, now I don’t think I’ll ever consider another Ford vehicle again.
Buying an ancient design that costs tens of thousands more with terrible fuel economy and ergos to match. You'll be driving uncomfortably for decades as tacos never die! That ought to show'em. At least wait for the refreshed '24 and hope for better comfort, tech and fuel efficiency.

“Tens of thousands more” it’s like 8k more lol. Uncomfortable? I had a taco before and it was fine for me. As for the “tech” I could really give 2 fucks about that lol. I off road a lot and will be consolidating to a single vehicle as opposed to having a daily and a 4Runner for off roading. At least the taco won’t be worthless on 4-5 years like most mavericks.

Have no idea what they would do. One thing for certain no one at Ford would care one way or another.

520 days, still Priority code 19. No one cares.
Sorry for you, but if you are a Priority 19 after getting rolled over, sounds like there might be a dealer problem and probably like my wife's order, - an allocation problem with your dealer. If it were me, I would have my buttocks in a chair getting some answers. My wife's dealer finally admitted it was an allocation problem - only sold 4 total 22 Mavericks, and after ordering 11 (including hers) 23 MY, have only seen 2.

What happens to un-fulfilled 2023 orders? SOL?
I have a vin # for my 2023 and a April 20th production start date Does that mean anything ? Or should I get in line for a 2024/2025?

According to Tim Bartz 27:11 , MY24 order banks are to open up on July the 17th with job 1 commencing October 17th.

Even with a vin# and a supposed production date (April 19) I dont think I will get this years truck Maybe I should get in line for a 2024/2025

I think ford would love to sell as many as they can. Mine is in build state and literally yesterday in Columbus Ohio I saw 6 different ones while drive so they are coming. I still think this allocation system is flawed but I am pretty new. If I was ford, I would have a guaranteed and tiered system. Dealer pays me x u get one terminal for ordering. 2x is two terminals. Etc. when what is in the system is gone. Order bank closes. If xtra capacity, open up again. Rinse and repeat

You will have plenty of time to decide that. your truck will be built way before 7/17 (or later)

I have a feeling that I'll be one of the many having to go and order a '24 Mav because their '23 Mav order won't be fulfilled. This allocation business might rob my local dealer of a sale. I've been watching the "Find my Ford" page since I ordered, and my dealer barely gets any trucks in, but Chapman (about 39miles away) almost always has Mavs coming in. I may have to order from Chapman to even get considered for a build, simply because of allocations. I feel bad for my dealer, I've gotten a couple Focus cars from them and they always treat me right at service appointments.
