I’ve already lost hope, been waiting since October 2021. I went into Toyota a couple weeks ago and put in a order for a 2023 Tacoma TRD OR in Lunar Rock. I never liked Ford but I decided to give them a chance because of the maverick, now I don’t think I’ll ever consider another Ford vehicle again.

I don’t believe Ford will offer rollovers for 2024, this means that if you don’t get your maverick this year then you have to re order and pay the new price, which will probably go up again.

Yeah so everyone that has been waiting since 2021 to get one gets screwed over. I imagine an XLT hybrid with no options will be closer to 30k for 2024. Honestly that prices me out, I’d rather spend 10k more and get a tacoma. Or 3-4k more and get a hybrid Rav4, at least they offer awd.

That’s what I was thinking. I don’t see myself towing anything on my hybrid. I have a 4Runner for that. I really only want the hitch to throw a bike rack on there lol. Do you know if the aftermarket options sit flush?

Agreed. I thought about dropping a hitch to increase the possibility of getting my hybrid. But it’s crazy how expensive it is to add one afterwards. If I don’t get mine built this year I’m just going to look for a tacoma.

I’m kinda debating on dropping the spray in liner, I have the hitch too but no way I’d drop that considering how expensive it is to put it on afterwards.

Shout out to Fords stupid ordering and allocation system. Some people get their trucks in 4 months and others wait 14 months and get nothing.
