Dropped my truck off for airbag recall. I already had headliner dropped for some PDR repair - so I saved them serval hours of work.

Also told me two other recalls were needed - sticker under hood and brake reprograming.

Get a call the next day - they changed airbags. But when they tried to do the brake update the truck went dead/unresponsive.

Tech traced it to a short in the main harness behind the dash.

Pulled the dash, front seats out - replaced harness.

Truck is fine now - thank goodness no additional rattles.

No Yeti cup tho. 🤔

Just picked mine up from the side curtain airbag recall. No rattles or scratches, nothing amiss. It took longer than estimated and there's a note on the service paperwork saying the extra time was due to the tech having difficulty aligning and reinstalling all the trim pieces. But they got it done and done right, it would seem.

Now we'll see if there are any Yeti sightings in my future...

My Yeti came in the mail a couple weeks after the recall service. But I do have a new rattle in the passenger door that I can't imagine is related to the recall.

Smelling coolant now - but I believe its due to them having to pull the heater core and some dripping on the exhaust/trubo.

Hopefully it will burnt off.

Brake reprogram was for HYBRIDS.

WHAT kind of brake problem showed up in EB?

Got my Yeti in the mail today (FedEx).

Wasn't expecting this at all. I guess it's a thank you gift for not dying.

I had the side air-bags issue fixed and had the brakes reprogrammed. I had to argue with the service agent and the manager about the brake issue. Sent them videos. They finally relented after checking their system and finding the update came through back in Feb.

Gonna need a new lid on this - can't imagine drinking out of this while driving.

Mine is back at the dealer- Headliner popping out all over the place and wonky door seals - Someone else mentioned the new bags are thicker creating issues- Are they going to create a new headliner and seal kit ?

I’m going to give the mechanic before he works on my airbags a yeti, a big tip, and whatever else I can think of so I don’t have to listen to a Maverick horror story.

I just went back to the dealer two days ago for the same reason as well (headliner popping out after recall). The dealer told me that they contacted some Ford people and they "confirmed the issue is present and they are working on a solution". Supposedly, they will call me back when the solution is found. We'll probably know about it in this forum before them so we'll see.

Ridiculous to have to go under open/heart surgery in a new rig only to not have enough material to finish up the stitches -

Mine as well. I actually handled the uninstall/reinstall of my headliner myself - and I know for a fact it was done right. It does not fit properly with the door rubber seals. I have to do a lot of massaging to get it presentable.

My headliner is just barely lower than the rubber door seals.
