SARASOTA Ford, in Sarasota Florida. I bought my hybrid Lariat Maverick from Sarasota ford with never having a problem. They give me the X-Plan price never added anything I didn't ask for. My salesman Andy Maleszky placed my order, and called me with any updates he received. 8 months, and three later said my truck arrived, and I could pick it up the following day. There service department can't be beat. I'm sure all their salespeople are just as personal as Andy. They are a 5 Star Dealership.

*** To Each their own, but my worst experience was as Sar-sucka Ford!!! The Sales Mgr was horrible arguing with me in the sales area about the change in pricing was supposed to be a markup on my order that I awaited 1 year to receive! And I had signed paperwork! I would NEVER EVER go back to that dealership again! And this despite I have a friend (out of country at the time) that is the Finance Director at this dealership!

I began my ordering process in July of 2021: Dealers that eventually sold me and worked with me that were excellent:

AAA+++ Granger Ford, Granger, IA was outstanding!! 3% discount under invoice! 1st Ed Rapid Red 4 k tow Lariat Lux package. My son now owns and drives that Mav!

AA+ Another dealer in IA, Ames was quite proficient in the total order process! The truck arrived, I worked out a deal for them to keep the 1st Ed Rapid Red 4 k tow Lariat Lux package. it was $$$ for me.

AB++ Kudos to Port Richey Ford, FL - the rep was straightforward with me and honest the entire time. The overall deal was just not that great - MSRP purchase for 1st Ed Rapid Red 4 k tow Lariat Lux package. 5 months later I sold it to a private party for $$

Dealerships near me I would NEVER EVER WORK WITH AGAIN, based upon the the Sales, order and management processes:
1. Brandon Ford was not a good experience at all! Eventually the order I placed they cancelled.
2. Gator Ford, they changed my order completely from a 1st Ed Rapid Red 4 k tow Lariat Lux package. to an XLT Cyber Orange... after back and forth and complaints to Ford (Ford never supported my position at all!) - I eventually gave up the order for their retail sale.
3. Sara-sucka Ford (Sarasota Ford, FL) -horrible, horrible, horrible experience. (Purchased Lariat Hybrid Alto Blue w 2k tow -- now selling it)
4. Elder Ford, just a bad experience in my attempt to get an order placed.

***NOT only will I never do business with these dealerships again, I will always recommend to people that ask - walk away from them! ****

Borman Ford in Las Cruces, NM. 2023 Maverick XLT, Hybrid, Lux, Co-pilot 360. MSRP, plus taxes and document fees, $28K OTD. 14 months to get my Mav, but dealership was on top of all changes that Ford required during that period. They did add window etching for $399.00, but that is all, and I'm ok with that. Very good buying experience with my saleslady Melissa Placencio at Borman Ford.

I’m in Massachusetts, but most dealers here were terrible. Mark ups and terrible to talk to.

I ended up getting mine from Ohio at Mike Bass Ford in Sheffield Village. My salesman was Bob Neenan and he was tremendous to deal with, especially with this being an out of state sale. Took my deposit in March of 2022 and held onto it for me and then sold to me at sticker price in May of 2022 when they had it. Can’t say enough good things.

I totally agree that people should be allowed to promote their company, or themselves. BUT— If they were deceptive, how would you know?
Ask them?? LoL

Of course not, rather going off of people who've had experiences with said dealerships. If a dealer is claiming to be honest, and decent, and is lying, others could chime in and essentially say that's untrue based on their experiences. People could also research these dealers, and look at their websites. If a dealer says it's going to sell it's vehicles at MSRP, but everything is marked up at their website, well they've discredited themselves. There isn't a huge incentive for dealers to lie on this forum. All that would do is further damage their reputation, and cost them additional sales.

did you actually get your mav yet? my current dealer seems fine so far but only if the deal goes to completion can I really assess how honest this dealer is.

Ordered 9/16 took delivery 3/9 Payed MSRP + 27 for title. No Dealers fees

No markup for my ordered Maverick, no bs while purchasing. Everything went very smoothly (other than 17 month wait).
While waiting they offered me an eco boost, at list. My salesman said even on cancelled units they would not mark up over MSRP. Something about long term relationships vs short term money. Integrity.
