Mines a 4.0 5 speed also, new frame in 2015 my tub is rotted real bad though, hard to find a decent tub in Maine, still looking for one. I may have to road trip south to find one

A friend of mine made a trip to NC and got me a wicked frame ( He has three more on a trailer for diferent year wranglers for the exact reason you mentioned salt ). I finished the restore last year and should paint it this year. Our Mav is an XLT EB AWD tow in cyber orange. When the sun hits the metal flake it shows it clearly is not school bus yellow, Just saying

91BRG Miata. Only other car I bought new. Always had a second car with the Miata. Some used junker. Now the miata has 220,000 and the Maverick is going to be the 2nd car. It replaces my X3BMW M series 2008 with 6 speed manual. Anyone want it? It’s a hoot If you can afford the repairs.

As a kid growing up in Brazil, the 914 was THE hot car that was actually available for sale. I developed a life-long lust for one of them, but as of yet have not "consummated" a deal... Almost bought a reddish-orange one a few years back, but the engine turned out to be in pretty bad shape. Someday...!

I have seen a bunch of them (914 S) still out there so you can still pick one up. With that said here is one of my real rides. And still waiting for my Tremor.

Sold my '17 GTI Sport (Stage II) in the fall thinking it couldn't be much longer - wrong. I got pushed to a '23, so now I get to drive my mom's sixteen year old Sonata.

I had a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek that I bought new. Underpowered (even with the manual transmission), but otherwise I really like it. Avoided t-boning a car that slid through an intersection and into the road...pointed it mostly between 2 trees but it was totaled. Bought a 2010 RAV 4 (which I hated) as a patch until the Mav came in. The RAV is for sale if anyone is the central Maine area is interested!

Traded in a Black 2007 Camry Hybrid (116,000 miles) for a Carbon Gray 2023 XLT Hybrid. Got enough for the Camry to pay the TTL. I almost bought the Ford Escape Hybrid in 2007 but Ford was just starting in the hybrid business buying and licensing from Toyota at the time and I decided to go with the company that started the hybrid business and it was a great car. But it was a car and I was pulling a teardrop trailer with it and was tearing it up with towing uphill to the E. Sierras. Hence the Mav.
