Did you ever have your private offer certificate number, or was yours lost in the ether like mine?My XL is ready for pickup.. problem is, my deal sheet does not reflect the $2750 rollover private offer. Waiting on the new sheet and I'm planning to fly to PA to pick it up next Wednesday.
I have it. I replied to finance guy letting him know it was missing and providing the certificate number. No reply yet.Did you ever have your private offer certificate number, or was yours lost in the ether like mine?
Interested to hear how it works out, hopefully all goes well.I have it. I replied to finance guy letting him know it was missing and providing the certificate number. No reply yet.
I’m sure Ford didn’t pick names out of a bingo barrel, but that’s the way it seems.Of note, both the Horsham orders that got scheduled from our little list here had the BAP. I went back and looked at the "emails received" thread, thinking maybe they'd decided to bundle a bunch of those, but only see a small number out of all the people who reported.
Next theory would be that Ford selected the higher-priced orders from the list of Horsham eligibles (although according to the folks who responded, there were a significant number of XLs scheduled yesterday, so that doesn't seem to be the larger trend for this round of scheduling).
Keep in mind, once we all got rolled over to MY23, Ford no longer has any insight into which of the rollover orders were originally ordered first - we all have a mid-September 2022 order date now, and are all sitting at Priority 11.
On the bright side, it's at least 2 more of the 29 unscheduled rollover hybrids knocked off the list, so inching closer for the rest of us. I'll post updated counts from Horsham as soon as I hear back.
Got it squared away. Picking it up Wednesday. Total is $19,872.34. I'll have to pay GA tax when I get it here, of course. It was about $1500 on the last XL. Really feels like theft at this price for a 2023 XL Hybrid.Interested to hear how it works out, hopefully all goes well.
Lowest numerically = highest priority, e.g. 10 is higher than 19I originally ordered from Chapman in January, 2022, then we converted to a 2023 Hybrid order in September. I continue to receive my '45 day - Sorry' emails from Ford. I pinged Ashlie and team yesterday and received this response from Kyle:
Hey John,
Looks like it's currently showing unscheduled. We have you in our lowest priority however unfortunately Ford will pull based on what they can build at the time of scheduling.

They have me in the 'lowest' priority but unfortunately Ford ........ If Chapman is trying to push this order, wouldn't they try to put me in the "highest priority" ?
Thanks
You should ask what number they have you at. Seems they have been putting most of us rollovers at 11 but they can technically go down to 10. Be nice to know who, if any, are getting the 10.Ok, thank you.......![]()
Did you have to pay GA taxes on the full 23 MSRP price or the price after subtracting the private offer? My new XL hybrid is home in GA from Chapman Horsham. Couple of notes:
Positive:
Total price was $21,751.66 including GA taxes and Chapman's fees. MSRP $23,690. Can't beat that at all. Super charming at its most basic form.
Negative:
Chapman put on all documentation that the truck had "9" miles. It actually had 45, and muddy footprints in the bed. I'm not sure it is even worth asking why at the price I paid.
