When to present X-Plan and TFB info to dealer?

Greetings all. I ordered a Lariat Hybrid and know I have a 50/50 chance of ever seeing it in the near or medium future. That said, when do I present my X-Plan and Texas Farm Bureau credentials to my dealer? Once I'm notified of a pre-production date? Delivery? Many thanks.

Accepting A/Z/X-plans is dealer optional, you should have asked when placing your order.

Yep, per the Ford Partner Plan FAQ:

It should be the first thing you do before you order.

I gave my A-plan info when I placed the order in September, so my build preview shows the A-plan pricing. However, the actual PIN # doesn't get used until the the vehicle arrives and the sale is completed.

As a PSA, my Z-Plan pin # was generated last September, and the certificate showed a 1-year expiration date. Fast forward to taking delivery a couple of weeks ago, and the system would not accept it. I got a new pin # from my sponsor, and it worked.

Yes, all of those PINs expire after 12 months. My sponsor gave me mine in late August 2022, so I should be OK (scheduled for week of April 11th)

Same here, presented my X-plan when I made the order and it is intergrated on my deal sheet. all the details will go in at the time of delivery

Same here. If they would have declined my X-Plan when I ordered 11/21, I would have moved on to the next closest dealer. They still have not seen my PIN (which I had to get updated during my long wait), but it is on my order sheet AND the Window Sticker as Order Type (O/T X). Delivery ETA is 2/25!
Why would a dealer want to give you X-Plan benefits after you already ordered from them?

My original Pin # was generated July 2022, so it was not 12 months old. Not Sept 2021.
