New Radio Software Update G2.1.0.1_R22362A

Hey everyone, I just wanted to make you all aware of the latest radio software update. I am not sure when it came out, but I usually check for updates a few times a month, so it's definitely recently released. I have only had it installed for a day now. So far everything is working perfectly, no more popping noises in the speakers, random signal loss, and radio signal actually seems to be a lot more stable with less interference. Attached is the pic of the software version after the update completely installed.

Looks like the XL/XLT screen.

Nothing will help the poor quality of the B&O outside of taking the speakers out and replacing them.

Had the software update since then as well, definitely not new although I’m hoping they still are working on weeding out the rest of the infotainment system bugs in the next update

The update doesn't apply to Sync 3. It took approx 45 min. from start to finish updating for me. I had my truck parked in the driveway for my first few attempts. It would download to about 16%, and then seem to freeze or stop. I then pulled my truck into the garage and on my first attempt it completed with no issues. Point is I was closer to my wifi router and had stronger signal when the truck was in the garage. So if you are having issues getting the download to complete, make sure you do what you can to get the best signal possible.

I read that even that is a challenge since the vocal midrange frequencies are pooled to the center speaker

Im no audiophile, but I enjoy music. The B&O are more like BO- they stink.
