Everytime I'm at the dealer they ask me if anything needs repaired (all of my vehicles are new and under warranty). I don't know anyone at the dealership and I did not purchase any of my vehicles from this dealership. This just happens to be the closest dealer to my house and that makes oil changes and miscellaneous visits more convenient. This is my explanation for the warranty work making the dealerThat's probably good advice. Plus waiting a bit lets the techs figure out the best way to replace the airbags in the shortest amount of time. That could make the difference of being able to wait for the job to get done or having to leave the Maverick at the dealer and come back later on to pick it up.
