anyone here think its possible to but the larger tank from an eco boost into a hybrid?

Not reasonable because of minimum gain? It would extend my range by about 100 miles. which means one more day.lol....possible, of course. Reasonable.....no.
so different fuel pumps and pressures? The EcoBoost tank isn't externally larger. The difference is the internal equipment for the hybrid's pressurized tank.
No, the tank is pressurized itself, he's not talking about fuel pressure.so different fuel pumps and pressures?
Or, maybe get gas when you need it, and, as mentioned, carry a jerry can if you feel the need to have extra fuel onboard. Not reasonable because of minimum gain? It would extend my range by about 100 miles. which means one more day.
not sure about "From the sound of it" Why the prejudice? you know absolutely nothing about me. It was just a question. Some people entertain the idea about such modifications. Have a good day!Not possible. And from the sounds of it, you shouldn't be wrenching on vehicles to begin with, especially when it comes to the fuel system.
Go for it I would, however I would wait until the warranty expires but that’s just me. I owned a F-250 which had space underneath in the bed area it was just time and modification and a bit fabrication but worked. I haven’t looked underneath the maverick but if there is space after the warranty I’ll add another tank why not maybe I could go 1000 miles per fill up.
