Rear Taillight Scratches on Both Side, Factory Installation Problem

It may have been a contaminate on the bumper before it was painted that didn’t allow the paint to adhere.

I know it sucks to get something brand new and have those kind of issues, but it’s a truck and if used like a truck those won’t be the last paint issues you will have.

I say clean it really well and hit with a matching touch up paint and call it good. But that’s just me. You do you.

That’s not what my rear tail light looks like. It is not set into a plastic number. It is in a metal frame

No part of my lail light assembly is mounted within a plastic bumper. It’s all steel. So, the poster does not know what he is looking at.

Yep you are correct guess my mind stuck to the word bumper previously. The abs bumper is way below the posted issue

Those are deep scratches into the black ABS bumper.

The pictures you posted don't show any scratches in the black ABS bumper.

I had the same exact thing. It was over spray from when they added the spray in bed liner. It came off fairly easily with alcohol and a rubber scraper.

Well, thats a LOT different than deep scratches in your plastic bumper. One, it is not plastic, two, it is not DEEP scratches. Just clean it for gods sake.

It was bedliner overspray that wiped off..
