Anyone else having issues with leaks in the passenger side? I took it to the dealer and they say they can’t find the source, but it’s clearly coming from behind the carpet. Whether it’s through the hood or one of the panels I’m not sure. Dealer says I will have to pay labor in order to pull up carpets to diagnose the leak. Hoping someone has another suggestion!

Pay labor? This is warranty work! It’s likely an improper windshield install. Have them start there.

I think that’s my only option. The other dealership was much more helpful and explained if it’s a manufacturing issue, then Ford should cover it. Thanks!

Any luck finding the cause of this? Just pulled up the passenger front mat and it was literally sopping wet underneath. It’s been getting wet a while as there were the beginnings of a little mold forming. Checked all the others and they were dry.

I seem to recall a previous thread on this, if I remember correctly (very well could be wrong) it was related to a plastic trim peace under hood around wipers ????

Nope! Took it to two different dealers and they are saying they can’t find where the intrusion is coming from. Let me know if you discover the problem. I’m in Cali, so not much rain, but I’m sure it will happen again with the next storm.

Make sure water is not coming into the passenger side of the cab via surface tension and air pressure under the condensate drain (when using the AC). Ford has had a problem there on multiple vehicles, I drained ~2 gallons of water from under that side’s front carpet on my Raptor.

Good luck

I have no idea where any of that would be 😂. But I’ll keep an eye out for moisture when using the AC. Thank you!

It’s the cowl under the hood, it was improperly installed which causes the leak. Tell your dealer and they should find it. I had the same problem almost a year ago

I saw that in the thread and mentioned it to them. But they said it’s not that…unless they just didn’t bother to listen to me. Thanks!

Well I took it to one local dealership and they said they couldn’t find it, so I bit the bullet and drove it to the dealer I bought it from, which is an hour away and they found it. I would be surprised if yours is wet for another reason.

I'm having the same issue on my drivers side. I noticed a puddle on the drivers side door panel last week during heavy rains and found out that it's very wet on the driver side floor.
So do you mean the black cowl at the base of the windshield?
