Pulls straight towards you. There are 4 clips, you can see them in the picture. How easy was it to take off?
Lariat adds ambient lighting to the front footwells and front interior door handle area. It’s only blue? What was it that was different, maybe shined in more places?
that isn’t what people normally refer to as ambient lighting or what the order guide is referring.Don't think so.

right, that is what ambient lighting is being referred to on the lariat. I wouldn’t call a small little blue light near the console ambient lightingLariat adds ambient lighting to the front footwells and front interior door handle area.
Regardless of what you would call it, the small light near the console is what the 22 XL and XLT had and what OP is referring to and asking if others with a 23 XL and XLT notice is missing.right, that is what ambient lighting is being referred to on the lariat. I hear you, but it's literally called that by Ford. That's why I specified XL/XLT in the thread title.right, that is what ambient lighting is being referred to on the lariat. I wouldn’t call a small little blue light near the console ambient lighting
Lol right, just like I (and many others) would call cyber orange, school bus yellow, but guess what Ford calls it...I hear you, but it's literally called that by Ford. That's why I specified XL/XLT in the thread title.
My xlt hybrid had ambient. The new tremor does notAre some of you misinformed?

except your XLT doesn’t and it’s exactly why the naming convention matters. My xlt hybrid had ambient. The new tremor does not
but… the name literally matters? Half the users in here are saying and thinking that xl and xlt ever came with the ford named “ambient lighting” from the order guide. They never did.Regardless of what you would call it, the small light near the console is what the 22 XL and XLT had and what OP is referring to and asking if others with a 23 XL and XLT notice is missing.
Ambient lighting doesn't have to mean entire vehicle lit up. Our titanium escape had it every where. The mav had it in the console. It's still ambient lighting.but… the name literally matters? this is like saying I have ambient lighting in a car because the flip down mirror has a light. They are different lights is all I was saying as to not confuse people.
Well to be fare to us XLT folks the UI on the infotainment screen does call it Ambient Lighting even if all it does is control the brightness of the led located under the center console. If anyone is to blame for the confusion surrounding this I would think Ford should be front and center not the end user.........but… the name literally matters? I understand that. I was just explaining my original confusion on what the topic was about is all.Well to be fare to us XLT folks the UI on the infotainment screen does call it Ambient Lighting even if all it does is control the brightness of the led located under the center console.
