Overhead Console ambient lighting?

Can someone who has the Maverick in hand tell me if the overhead console has a map light installed that casts a soft glow over the dash/center console below?

The last two cars that I have owned had a red light integrated into it. It didn't have its own switch and you couldn't turn it off. It was just always there.

It's a little detail that I've grown to appreciate. Didn't know if someone could confirm this for me.

I’d like to know this, too. Loved the small feature on my 2019 Ridgeline RTL-E. Just the right amount of blue light shined down to help navigate the cabin.

All our recent VW's (up until our last two we have now) have had the red "night light" LEDs and i've loved them! Recently the switch to cabin ambient RGB lighting has been even better.

I miss those lil red LEDs.

It does not. But I wish it did..
Does anyone know if we can add more ambient lighting to the existing circuit that is controlled (and dimmable) through the screen?
