Very cool thread so far :) looking forward to the updates! Love those old school minis you posted; I'm not huge into sound systems anymore, but was thinking of going with the Alpine PWE-S8. It's internally amplified and has a built in crossover; it can also just tap into the rear speakers so there's no need for a line converter or anything fancy.
Just a note on that - tap into your FRONT speakers. The power to the rear is significantly reduced and might be subject to a low pass filter.

Several posts on this by others. Good luck, looking forward to your progress!

Question -

I have a 22 Mav Hybrid as well. Lowered on Eibach Coils and the thing is basically sitting on the bump stops at ride height. I trimmed the front one as they mentioned and replaced the rear with the one they included in the kit

If I stand on the rear bumper my truck does not compress at all as its already on the bump stop or 1/8th of an inch from it

You say your truck rides like stock.... My truck rides like crap.

My Question for you... How much travel do you have before you hit your bump stops?

Thnaks

This question leaves me completely perplexed... I didn't do ANYTHING with the rear bump stops. I looked around and didn't see anything, so I figured there weren't any, they must be built into the shock.

If it weren't raining buckets right now I'd walk out to my shop and look much more carefully and give the bumper a bounce. How about tomorrow?

Yes, the OEM bumps are on the shock. You have to remove the upper hat and then slide them off and replace them with the ones that Eibach included in the kit

The Eibach ones are a hair shorter but are a much firmer material.

For the front, did you cut down your OEM Bumps?

Thanks
Travis

Your truck looks so good. Thanks for the review/input of the Eibach coil springs. Funny that I was looking at a set of the Escape 19's thinking they would look good on the Maverick, yours turned out great. My 2023 was just built and I want to lower it right away as well, I'm just not sure if I'll go with the Eibach or H&R, I've used Eibach in the past and was happy.

just be sure when reading reviews & impressions that you're comparing to someone that has the same drivetrain. AWD and FWD models have different rear suspension.

obviously make sure you buy the right kits, also. LOL

is the rear springs on a hybrid different than a FWD turbo?

I don't know but I know that all the spring and coilover kits I've seen are just AWD vs FWD.

Also know that the hybrid and fwd ecoboost have the same payload rating so it's reasonable to assume the spring rate and travel are the same. I just don't literally know that the Ford part # is the same on the original suspension parts between hybrid and ecoboost fwd.

Eibach springs say they lower the rear 3.5 inches FWD. AWD says 2.9 inches? So they might be different? Then again the FWD stock maverick is slightly lower.

Well color me stupid and call me Susan!

I loaded about 300 pounds of equipment in the bed this morning and suddenly found my Maverick felt like a lowered truck! What. The. Hell. ??? 🙄

So I guess I'll be pulling the rear shocks later today... 😳

Is there an "egg on face" emoji? Oh well, at least I can laugh at myself. In my defense the truck REALLY DOES ride fine with the stock bump stops, but as I mentioned before I had one section not road that felt like I was lowered. Granted, we have damn smooth roads around here.

Okay, hiding under a rock in the shop until I FINISH lowering my Maverick... LMAO.

Thanks yiu Travis for bringing the obvious to my attention. Captain Obvious, a.k.a. Eric, OUT!

ya, I did my rear kit and then realized I had bumps in the box still…. Then looked at the directions and realized I missed the rear bump install

let me know what you think after going to the ones they provided.

Hopefully someone can answer this easily here, I still haven't done mine yet. I was figuring on pulling the kick panels by the driver's and passengers feet and seeing what I could find.

I have the wire color for the speakers, if that helps.

I swapped out the rear bump stops. Verdict? No change. Weird. Maybe the 23's have a different bump stop? Probably not. No worries, took about 15 minutes and now I don't wonder.

Working on the universal chin spoiler right now. Fabbed up a few brackets out of thick gauge aluminum and even then, I'm not sure I love it. The brackets will be painted black if I decide to run the spoiler.

I may narrow it 3" - 4" in the middle.
