I use mine only when I am stopped at a long traffic light, so I am always turning it on and off. I wish it was defaulted to off and up to the driver when they want to use it. It's annoying when performing quick stops, such as, stopped at a stop sign or waiting to turn left.
For what it's worth, I tried the H&R Super Sport springs and didn't care for the ride, which might be fixed by adding longer sway bar end links. By the time I heard about that fix, I had already moved onto the Goodwin springs. I'm not sure how their sport springs ride. I've heard good things...
I'm not sure if anyone makes springs to maintain the stock height, with a firmer ride. You could always look at the H&R sport springs, they don't lower the Maverick as much as the super sport springs. Another option might be the Lobo springs? I have the Goodwin Racing springs on mine.
I love...
ABMaverick, I searched back through some of my previous conversations and I think if you read this thread, it'll help you solve your clunking. https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/lowering-spring-clunking-sound-fix-longer-swaybar-endlinks.34388/#post-623382

We have two Mavericks. Both have the same pre-set radio stations. The 22 gets excellent reception. I think my 23 used to, but not anymore. I wonder if the smaller antenna on the maverick has a booster, that is going bad. I had an 04 VW that I had to install a new booster to get reception...
I didn't do anything with the rear control arms. There weren't any aftermarket options available at the time when I lowered it and the camber was only out by a little bit. I just checked my alignment sheet and both sides are -1.7 and it looks like the suggested range is 0.03 to -1.6 degrees...
I don't have any complaints about the Goodwin springs. I really like them, the ride is very close to factory, but sportier. I regularly drive my wife's 2022 Maverick and there isn't a huge trade off. I tried the H&R super sports and I didn't care for the ride at all.
Justin.23, I'm interested to see how much wider these will be. I picked up a set of aftermarket rims with a 35mm offset and I don't like the amount of poke up front, I think I need at least 1/2" more width for them to look better. Thinking of these or the air design and having them painted to...
DavesMav. I'm in the process of putting together a wheel tire combo. Did you go with the Ford brand TPMS35 sensors? The Ford TPMS sensor tool, is this just one of those cheap reset tools that are available from Amazon?
Cool mod and thanks for explaining how it changes between manual and auto. Keep up the good work and ignore the haters. These trucks remind me of the foxbody era with all the interest in modifications.
Your truck will look sweet. Make sure to post up some pics. I’ve seen some guys just use the OEM bolts, but I didn’t want to pay for an alignment, only to find it was out of spec, then order the bolts and have to pay to align it again. Plus this way I’ve got a sheet showing it is within spec, in...
