Looks GREAT. Once you have driven it more be sure to let us know how the ride is?
So far it rides pretty much like stock. The wider, lower profile tires do pick up a little more road feedback but it feels more sporty than anything.

Stock front fender measured 33 3/4".

Stock rear fender measured 34 15/16".

Lowered front fender measures 31 13/16".

Lowered rear fender measures 31 3/4".

So roughly 2" front (Eibach claims 2.5") and 3 3/8" rear (Eibach claims 3.5").
Regarding my own post, I need to clarify. The stock 17's (tires) are slightly smaller than the 19's (tires) I put on, so the actual lowering I posted above won't be 100% accurate.

I'm running 235/55R19's now. The difference in diameter is about 1/2" so in theory you could add an additional 1/4" more to the drop.

I chose a slightly taller sidewall for a few reasons, but most importantly to fill more fender gap.

Moreover....
I'd love to drop it two more inches but there's just not room to get it that low and make it ride decent without airbags. This is my work truck and I'll put 30-35k on it every year. I don't need to deal with bags and lines on the side of the road somewhere while customers are waiting.

I had budgeted for Scale coilovers, but after reading everything @volksnuts and others went through trying to get a ride they could live with I just don't see it in the near future. The Silvers are reportedly no better. I hope someone can sort this out soon because I'd really like to lose more fender gap.

Here are a few of my trucks over the years.

Maverick looks great! I like that Mighty Max in your previous truck pics. Long time go I had a black Dodge D50 just like that that I lowered and had fun with. I sure miss that little truck. I still remember the pull handle E brake handle on the dash.....lol

Thanks! That Mitsu was one of my favorites for sure! Fast as hell, too.

The Mav looks fantastic! You’re previous rides take me back to my huge stack of MiniTruckin’ and Truckin’ magazine days thinking about what I wanted to do my 84 S10,…good times.

The convertible Isuzu was my first mini truck circa 1988. I refuse to grow up!

Now pushing 17 miles, ran over to my son's shop to return his spring compressor. Thought I'd stop for a quick photo opp.

Congrats! Not sure why you would lower a truck. Isn't the whole point to have more ground clearance to support the bed loads.

How much do you think these can carry? And how much do you generally carry day-to-day? How much do you expect the truck to "squat" with a load, eight inches?

The fact is that the load carrying capacity is not affected, just the ground clearance. This doesn't make it any less capable, but does make it far more aggressive handling.

I have plenty of other trucks to haul car trailers, my boats, and heavy loads. My wifes DAILY is a lifted Jeep Rubicon on 37" BFG's. The Maverick wasn't designed to do any of those things. It's a car with a bed.

What I lost was a little ground clearance which I don't need. Yes, it will traverse a rough dirt road just fine and will probably see a good amount of those as I do a LOT of coyote hunting.

I also lost a ton of ugly fender gap so no complaints there.

What I gained is a significant cosmetic improvement (my opinion, of course), a massive handling improvement AND improved drag coefficient resulting in better fuel mileage. Well, the last one is theoretical for now since I have 19 miles on the truck after running a few errands this morning but every vehicle I've lowered has improved highway fuel mileage bt 5 - 15%.

You don't have to get it, you don't have to like it. That's why my license plate will read DLIDGAS.

Don't Like It Don't Give A Shit. 😁

Thanks man!

The wheels are 19x8 from an Escape. I always loved the design and bought them more than a year ago anticipating they'd work. I did my homework because they fit perfectly.

After sandblasting and powder coating I could have bought a set of killer aftermarket wheels, but this is the look I was going for.

Tires are 235/55R19.

You did a great job because your truck is awesome. Sometimes people over do it on the wheels, when a factory wheel will look just as good or better. You sir, made a great choice. I like the 19's as well. I am going to be dropping mine soon (assuming my order don't scheduled soon) on my factory 17" FX4 wheels. I think those wheels actually fit this truck well too.
