Because there are two different ways to play the game.Well ok , but why is Video Ford guy offering up so freely information and taking questions. My point is dealers could be more forthcoming because that’s their business ,they know their business,
they know things we don’t know.
1. Be honest and up front. You have people flocking to you to buy vehicles but maybe with a lower profit per vehicle.
2. Be secretive about your process and maximize profit off fewer sales.
In the end, I think both paths get about the same initial revenue, but not after everyone figures out the shell game some play.
Then there are some who play football with a lacrosse stick and a catchers mitt and still succeed.
