What is the difference between the cargo management system and the D Link 6 bed connectors?
The rail system is called D link on your build sheet from your dealer.

So is this bad for all the original ecoboost orders who thought they might get theirs built in a couple months? Now the hybrid conversions pushing in front of them?
Potentially some of them. It puts them in the same EB pool which makes it bigger and some of the orders that switch over might end up getting built earlier than existing EB orders based on the way Ford selects and schedules builds.

I was torn between Hybrid and AWD from the start, so I'm definitely considering switching to EcoBoost Lariat + 4k tow if I don't get scheduled tomorrow. Not thrilled with the price difference, but it may be worth it for the capability and actually getting a truck.

I ordered first time in 22 september hybrid also. I am willing to switch also if it improve my probability of getting maverick in 23.

However if you read that Ford document seen in the beginning post. It specifies that those ordering in 22 have the option switch. Is that how you read the document?

If yours order was done on MY23 then how were you able to get the new ordered placed? Who did you redirect your order to? Did the salesman call you?
I read it as only the first bullet applied to 22MY converted to 23MY (make sure they have the most priority), everything else reads as applying to any 23MY order. This seems to be confirmed by people who put in new 23MY orders and have already been able to make the change.

Are you able to add these packages after you are scheduled?

Good for Hybrid orders who switch. Too bad for me since it looks like my order will get pushed back further when powertrain changes get in front of me. If is based on dealer allocations, might I now not even get one if Hybrid order that switch get in front of me?
That is possible. Ford will keep the plants full. If your dealership has allocation, and there are buildable EBs (when no more hybrids are available to schedule that week), these could take up more of the dealers allocation, and the remaining hybrids could be left delayed/unscheduled.

If no one switched, there would still be about 50% of hybrid orders left unscheduled.

No one can predict what impact it will have on an individual order, but overall, it will help more retail orders to be scheduled (rather than extra EBs for dealer stock), and give the hybrid-holdouts a greater chance to have their Maverick scheduled.

curious, how did they manage to reorder when the bank was closed?
I called and talked to a sales manager. He is investigating it. He says Ford cancelled it and they reordered it Nov 16 which is more than likely as I had a 2022 VIN. All of that should have been part of the rollover/transition program for unfulfilled 2022 orders.

The private offer is now being researched to see why we are not seeing the private offer. According to Tim Bartz, (sp?) it could be a name related issue (has to match 2022 order process for 2023) or that the COVP (customer ordered verified program) was not verified for 2022. They can fix the first issue, but if it is the second, I am SOL.

What I do not understand is that Ford is saying 35% over capacity but earlier they said that they can build 27,230 of the 52,904 orders, so that is 49% over capacity, What gives?

And yet again Ford hangs us out to dry. My ‘22 order with a canceled VIN was rolled over to ‘23 and already got scheduled. I’m obviously glad it’s scheduled, but now I’m paying $495 for a spray in bedliner when everybody else can get the SIBL and cargo system for $495.
I'm basically in the same position as you but I was advised to drop the spray in bed liner months ago. I just called my dealer and he can do the bed liner but their price is $595. Yep, the MY22 (with VIN) customers are screwed over again....pushed behind the earlier MY22 convertors and too late to order the spray in with free Cargo M S.

The spreadsheet was "back of the napkin" math. Ford said before Hybrid was 68% of orders and now say they are 73% of orders. So, either they scheduled a lot more than the planned production of 65% EB last month or the outstanding Cancelled VINs that are now included in that count.
