Prior to getting my 2025, I had ordered a 2023 Cyber Orange, but when it delivered decided I didn't need a truck yet. For 2025 when I decided a truck would actually be useful, I went with my backup color Velocity Blue, though I almost went with Eruption Green
I had success finding my truck using Ford's inventory search. Would recommend talking to at least a few dealers to figure out which ones are easiest to work with and has the least BS...
I purchased a new 2025 Maverick XLT a week and a half ago. First days speakers sounded fine, but third time I was driving the truck (3rd day I think), the driver's door speaker went from clear to more muffled/quiet. It still puts out sound, but it just sounds... different. It almost seems like a...
Dealer should be able to provide the invoice sheet once the vehicle has been produced. On the page should be this. Dealership should be able to determine this number, or close to it, at time of ordering.
and the dealer should provide a quote with breakdown of Price, any addons, taxes...
It's harder to find than it should be, when I first started shopping a few weeks ago I didn't notice it at first and had googled for the 2025 builder to find a direct link. Noticed the option later. I can only assume it's because Ford is still wanting to clear the 2024s off dealer lots...
To clarify, it was in March 2023 I made the call not to by a Maverick, but I just completed purchase on a 2025 Maverick last week and came back to provide an update to my original post. The only thing that has me slightly annoyed is I bought before Ford's new incentive launched, wasn't expecting...
Finding out that it was only $15 to $18 a day for uhaul's smallest trailers was a surprise. At current needs buying trailer doesn't make sense. Heck, if I had known that there are a few projects I could have gotten done with my GTI.
I came back. Use case started pushing to need something with more utility. After looking at other vehicles like the 2026 Honda Passport Trailsport, which I loved but couldn't get over the $55K price tag, my wife mentioned if I should consider the Maverick again. Started shopping and after...
Ford has had a lot of inventory on stagnating on dealer lots, including 2024 Mavericks due to the stop-sale which was just lifted. There has also been increased buying interest due to all that's going on. I'm not sure this is more than Ford taking advantage of the situation in a way gives them...
Did you have an order sheet? You should have price protection if MSRP goes up. You may want to start talking to your dealership now to get this to get you pricing with the current discount in case MSRP does go up. I don't know if a dealership would try to argue you could only get the price...
I read that as you are price guaranteed if you place a new order during that period, or you get this the price if you are taking delivery during this period. FinsUp91 is taking delivery and should get this pricing.
Dang it, I just bought with X-plan last week. Was not expecting Ford to drop this level of incentives. At least I made it out the door with no extra/inflated fees or add-ons. Started conversations with 6+ dealerships, most of them were jerks about their add-ons, fees, or both.
Turo is a service that allows people to rent their personal vehicles. Think of it as airbnb for cars. Later on in my posted I referred to it as the Turo Maverick for brevity.
My VW GTI is also a 2.0 direct injection turbo, and the Maverick I rented on Turo was ridiculously loud compared to it...
