Probably the wrong spot to post but I gotta ask... think the Toyota will be built before most of the Mavericks are?

I switched mine today. ordered a hybrid xl back in september. lets see if i get scheduled as an eco!So, who has a hybrid order that wants to be the first Guinea pig?
My opinion:I want to make sure I understand this memo. Both my GF and I ordered XLT hybrid Mavericks. Mine got scheduled for 2/6, hers is not scheduled yet. We ordered from different dealerships due to location where we live. I kept off SIBL and she kept off the luxury package due to possible constraints when we ordered. I did have the cargo management system ordered already and planned on aftermarket SIBL.
1. Since mine is scheduled I can't add the SIBL now?
2. Even if it is possible to add it, should I just let it be than take chance of something getting messed up?
3. Should she wait until tomorrow and see if she gets scheduled?
4. If not scheduled should she add the Lux package?
5. If not scheduled is anyone worried about something getting messed up if they make changes?
Glad you guys are here! I still haven't received email from Ford but called last Thursday thanks to info posted here. I was informed of build date and gave me VIN#. Coincidentally, my salesman called Monday to talk about constraints and removing items from my order (sunroof, hitch and tiedowns). I asked if I should remove them if already scheduled. He had no idea I was scheduled, I gave him the info so he could check on it. I haven't heard back from him so I assume he was just calling customers with Mav orders to see if they wany to remove constraint items.
Great forum and thanks everyone for the help!
Or those of us who ordered any EB really. We had a decent chance of getting our trucks, and getting them early, but if the EB orders flood in now, we will just be in line with everyone else.Of course for those of us who DID order Tremors, could not put in an order for several days due to ordering issues and therefore toward the bottom of the line at a dealer in Maverick orders. So we will now risk not getting a Maverick if a significant number of people switch to Tremor orders. Not a good notice for us.
SIBL is $500 from linex. Cargo system can be bought and added from dealer/ or do it yourself. Its really only savNice that Ford is offering this SIBL and cargo system as a pkg. I took it off based on all of the constraints and got scheduled quickly but now going to be paying a fortune to have both of these installed aftermarket.
I orginally thought this too and ordered a hybrid. However after seeing the amazing mpg people are getting i just switched to Eb today. I dont see the point in gambling for a hybrid when I can get an ecoboost and spend an extra few hundred $ a year. Gas prices are coming down and back in the 2's where I live.I feel the only thing that makes the EB worthwhile is AWD. If you can't add that, or include that as part of the swap, it seems like not many folks would want to switch.
So to confirm the standard non sync system on the Mav coupled with Copilot 360 won't have the sensors required to produce the beeps and lines? That’s part of the Sync system. Very familiar, as it’s on my Mustang Mach E. Nice feature, but requires rear sensors. If you have rear sensors you’ll get the beeps and lines
I ordered first time in 22 september hybrid also. I am willing to switch also if it improve my probability of getting maverick in 23.I switched mine today. ordered a hybrid xl back in september. lets see if i get scheduled as an eco!
Cargo management is the cross-rails that attach to the movable cleats. What is the difference between the cargo management system and the D Link 6 bed connectors?
I agree but as someone who just switched today most of my driving isnt city so MPGI got my hybrid last April after 8 months and in hindsight I was very fortunate. That being said, I would have never waited on an Ecoboost. It was always the standard hybrid that made this truck special to me.
It's somewhat amazing that Ford hasn't figured this out better a year later.
the SIBL is $495 and cargo is $225. Its two seperate options at the moment and will be grouped as one later according to my dealer today.I tried to ask the dealer to add 96G and 61D for $495 but the price is showing way more than $495. Has anyone been successful added those spray in bed liner and cargo management system for $495?
So is this bad for all the original ecoboost orders who thought they might get theirs built in a couple months? Now the hybrid conversions pushing in front of them?Ford has updated their communication about Maverick builds and is giving dealers and customers a chance to change their options.

I called the dealer and spoke with my salesman. He went into the system and was able to switch the powertrain to EB. I believe all orders can be changed not just 22. I am a new MY23 order.I ordered first time in 22 september hybrid also. I am willing to switch also if it improve my probability of getting maverick in 23.
However if you read that Ford document seen in the beginning post. It specifies that those ordering in 22 have the option switch. Is that how you read the document?
If yours order was done on MY23 then how were you able to get the new ordered placed? Who did you redirect your order to? Did the salesman call you?
