What a sh*tshow… after 13 months of waiting, I finally have a build date next week. I removed the SIBL and Cargo Management System as the former was a constraint. Now I will need to pay ~$600 for an aftermarket SIBL. I called Ford CS to see if they would honor the $225 price for the Cargo system ($400 on Ford accessories), and was subsequently passed around to like 5 different departments. I happened to ask marketing about the private offer expiration and it is 1/3/23. My delivery ETA is between 1/7 and 1/13. So now I am stuck paying $1000 for a $500 package (also not reflected in Window Sticker) AND my private offer may be off the table? I emphasized that there is no way more than 1% of rollovers will be delivered by 1/3, making the private offer essentially a lie. How does Ford continue to FUBAR at every turn? My $30k truck just became a $35k truck. F you Ford!

In my case, I was the first Hybrid order at my dealership and they said "We have a large allocation. We are the largest dealership family at Ford." I don't know if THAT's true because it doesn't seem that big but I DO know I put my order and was literally sitting there when the sales manager said "The order bank just opened." They immediately put (tried to) in my order... sysem was down... tried and tried... I finally left. Next day, they told me my order went in first-thing that morning.
That's kinda weird, because the mega ford dealer north of Houston had been taking deposits and pre-orders long before the order banks opened. My order was in on Friday. But they placed 400 orders. I don't know if I was early because it was the first full day of orders, or I was late because for all I know I was order 400 for that dealer.

Where did you get the private offer? I haven't received one for my rollover order. I asked my dealer and they said they would "adjust" my order to reflect without specifying any dollar amount. Based on what the two Ford guys who provide info to the Maverick groups say, we should get $2750 off our roll over prices. I know nothing of an expiration, but then again, I have nothing in writing. I agree, this has turned into a $hit show.

Yes, it does! It makes sense (but I am still surprised....they have never allowed that before that I know of)
Good for Hybrid orders who switch. Too bad for me since it looks like my order will get pushed back further when powertrain changes get in front of me. If is based on dealer allocations, might I now not even get one if Hybrid order that switch get in front of me?

Pretty wild that Ford knowingly took twice as many hybrid orders as they could fulfill. They really need to hire someone to overhaul their ordering software.
They need to overhaul their marketing and research departments so they can be in touch with what customers ACTUALLY WANT.

On the one hand the chances of being scheduled go up for my hybrid order with priority code 10 which was one of the first orders if not the first order at my dealer that had all of their 20 '22 orders scheduled before September.

On the other hand, this decreases the chances of my EcoBoost order being scheduled which is one of the last orders at my dealer and has priority code 19.

If I don't get scheduled tomorrow, I will probably add the SIBL and CMS to both orders.

I was kinda thinking the same thing at first before I got my hybrid but it does make a difference at least for me. The lowest I have got on mpgs has been about 33mpg and the best I got was about 57mpg. It obviously makes a difference on how you drive and traffic conditions I don't speed much and I am in some traffic to my second job. For me I would still choose the hybrid. Just my 2 cents.
It's very different if you live in a northern climate. From the pool bar/club to home was 1.4 miles last night with a 17.6mpg*. Not sorry with the hybrid, but everything depends on your situation. Also people have noted not much difference for highway drive. The EB seems more powerful and perhaps a better rear suspension. However it seems the hybrid initially will have a higher resale value if you change vehicles often.

*It was in the 20's and gunned it a bit trying unsuccessful to heat the cabin up. The club had issues with the furnace and it was in the 60's most of the night. Something about the wrong furnace for the applications. Has old fashion standing cast iron registers. Even with the fix very last only the first one go hot.

Your private offer should not expire if it is attached to an active open order. Ford customer service will be able to confirm that for you.

As far as all this being a sh*tshow, no arguments from anyone here!

For the Lariat, ecoboost is bundled with AWD. As a practical matter, does that mean AWD can also be added to trucks, or does that mean Lariats can't switch to ecoboost?

I tried to ask the dealer to add 96G and 61D for $495 but the price is showing way more than $495. Has anyone been successful added those spray in bed liner and cargo management system for $495?
