First available choice is ECO. Always been that way.I wish they had a "first available" choice. I don't have enough visibility into my current order status and likelihood to make an informed decision. This is nuts.

AIUI according to my dealer when I signed the ‘23 paperwork changing engine or trim would be considered a new order and cancel out the offer. Have to see if they will change with the new memo.Nothing, it stays the same as originally assigned. I changed and the offer stayed attached to the order.
If it was the hybrid $2750 it stays the same and is actually a better deal for an EB order.
Call Ford customer service to verify the private offer is still attached to the order. Should be, unless they changed the original order number.AIUI according to my dealer when I signed the ‘23 paperwork changing engine or trim would be considered a new order and cancel out the offer. Doubt it. Other than the option to move hybrid to EB and the bed combo package, there actually isn't anything new worth stopping scheduling for.Suspect this will push alleged scheduling tomorrow to Friday to sort this new memo out?
Not really. The bulk of people who were interested in the Maverick are interested because of the hybrid. Dealers are already sitting on EBs. So, my guess is you might get a handful to change, but that the vast majority will stay hybrid.Well shit. I hope this doesn't push my order back too much. I wasn't expecting my odds to be good before this announcement. But now that we have a bunch of hybrid orders potentially changing over to EB, I'd imagine my chances are gonna plummet more.
Good breakdown; simple and concise. Some thoughts to consider:
For XLT EB and Lariat EB orders, you’re looking good! Your only concern is to be sure the dealer has enough allocations before the end of the model year.
For XLT hybrid and Lariat hybrid orders, you need to confirm you’re near the front of the line at your dealer and they have plenty of allocations. If not, it’s a low probability dice roll. Might consider a switch to EB if you are down in the list.
For XL EB orders, also need to confirm you’re near the front of the line at your dealer and they have plenty of allocations. If not, it’s a low probability dice roll. Might consider a switch to XLT EB If you are down in the list.
For XL hybrid orders, it’s a double hit, only 1 in 4 orders will get built. You need to be right at the front of the line at you dealer and they have plenty of allocations. Otherwise, best to consider a switch.
Of course the problem is it’s hard to know for sure where you are in the dealer order priority list and you never know for sure the dealer allocations as they will change, so still a bit of a crap shoot all round.
Correct, for FWD Ecoboost. It jumps if you add AWD.I just went to FORD's website for the "build one". It shows NO DIFFERENCE in price between the EB and the HYBRID.
Probably.Your math is way off.
