Wonderful...now I get to agonize over whether to switch to an EB if that last paragraph is to be believed...🤔

38% over capacity on Hybrid and 10% under on XLT packages.
Will enough orders be switched over from the Hybrid to Ecoboost to get me my order?
I'm starting to have serious doubts my order will see the light of day.
Kinda glad I put nothing down on my order I guess.

This sucks :(

So, who has a hybrid order that wants to be the first Guinea pig?

Ford - "We are transitioning to an all electric fleet." Except for hybrids apparently. And having less amenities makes the XL more constrained. Makes perfect sense. Must be the steel wheels being the constraint item. So. Much.BS.

I had a plan B I placed at another dealership while my 22 cancelled VIN was in limbo. Might switch that to ECO.

I can't find the Cargo Management system on Ford's website/builder for the Maverick. Is it just the side rails or does it include the floor hooks, etc.?

Any idea where I can see what the package includes? I had dropped the spray-in a while ago and was planning on doing a LineX + Shay's side rails + floor hooks on my XLT but this seems like it will save me some time and money..

Pretty wild that Ford knowingly took twice as many hybrid orders as they could fulfill. They really need to hire someone to overhaul their ordering software.
I am hoping they took the excess hybrid orders with the intent of increasing production of the hybrid constrained components. These are guaranteed sales if they can just build the trucks. 35% was a forecast and like the spray-in bedliners are subject to change based on availability.

Not me. I already have a EB (with no complaints) and will either have a Hybrid Maverick next or it will be something other than a Ford.

Unfortunately, I was in contact with my dealer yesterday after he tried to process my change from a hybrid xl 2.5 to a Ecoboost 2.0, and he said that that switch was not allowed, that Ford would be making no more 2.0 Mavericks this year. A group member said this was because motor switches are not allowed, but the communication from the dealer was specific re the 2.0 availability being maxed out. I THOUGHT I had read earlier that the 2.0 switch was encouraged, as they dropped the extra cost for that motor. Any advice on actually GETTING a truck appreciated, otherwise stuck singing the "35% BLUES"
This is the actual wording from my dealer: My GM attempted to change the order to an Ecoboost motor, but the Ford ordering utility would not accept this change. It informed him that the Ecoboost engine had received an early balance out, meaning no more non-hybrid Mavericks will be built in the 2023 model year.
This memo was just sent out today, so it looks like changes can now be made to the powertrain. Note this memo when reaching out to your dealer.

I think lots of people dropped the SIBL from their orders and that may have had more impact than anything.
