Just went through a cold spell. Block heater didn't work. Want to get what I paid for. Came for help.

Got a call into Ford to get it checked out when they can get me a loaner (almost a month from now, woof). Any other insight before then is appreciated.

This was my thought but I was wondering if there is any way to determine what this value is on the factory heater. Tomorrow will get down to 20°F but I imagine it's higher than that right?

Finally getting around to doing this + the engine block heater cord relocate myself. 2 questions.. Before I order, anyone got a spare sidewall SAE port? Saw they only come in 2 packs.. And second, how are the stainless jam nuts holding up? Or the zinc ones from OP? Any corrosion, issues?

What's the move on this these days? I asked my dealer when this update first came out and they said they had no idea. Should I just call and reference the SSM#?

Can anyone help me with placement? No matter where I move this I can't seem to not get in the way of the hood weatherstrip. I've placed it as far forward as possible while still being mounted on "top" (as opposed to mounting on the "front" vertically). I can only see my LED from a very low...
