Got a call into Ford to get it checked out when they can get me a loaner (almost a month from now, woof). Any other insight before then is appreciated.
This was my thought but I was wondering if there is any way to determine what this value is on the factory heater. Tomorrow will get down to 20°F but I imagine it's higher than that right?
Not part of the recall :(
Don't think there is a fuse on this, but I'll check on the cord as well. Everything is external here, not through the fusebox.
Hi all. I originally added on an engine block heater even though it doesn't get crazy cold around me, it can still be nice in the winter to get on the road quicker.
That said I went to go put a Noco extension so that I could plug it in without ever opening the hood like this:
Went to go...
Finally getting around to doing this + the engine block heater cord relocate myself.
2 questions..
Before I order, anyone got a spare sidewall SAE port? Saw they only come in 2 packs..

I've got a '23 hybrid that I'm considering using to tow ~3k lbs all in (trailer + motos + gear). I would be looking to drive this from Nashville to El Paso to Denver and back to Nashville. Maps says...
Anyone know if it's possible to disable the dome lights coming on at night when I turn the key off from running? I'd like the dome lights to only come on once I've opened the door if possible.
Much better now. Moved it to the lower front lip. It will probably be subject to the elements over time there but oh well, looks good. Didn't even realize my XLT had a different grill than your hybrid.
Side note: I think by the wiring I did (like post #53, tapped into the blue wire of the turn...
Can anyone help me with placement? No matter where I move this I can't seem to not get in the way of the hood weatherstrip. I've placed it as far forward as possible while still being mounted on "top" (as opposed to mounting on the "front" vertically).
I can only see my LED from a very low...
