Thanks, FWIW the mustang is a new 22 eruption green ecoboost no option manual transmission marked down to $25,855. Not loaded like my Lariat order but far more fun to drive I'm sure.
That sounds like a nice mustang, and a good deal. And plus a cool color.

A cheap stock mustang is what I would want if I ever bought a mustang again.

That's the real heart and soul of the pony car. A fun ride for cheap money.

It sucks so many have gone thru this BS - Which engine u get with that stang ? I got a 2021 - rental stang for a weekend, thought I would hate it with the 2.3T but wow was it punchy and fun - Gauge options for days - Might have had fake engine noise but whatever.

And still bought a Ford? Blind loyalty right there. I’m sure that new dealership has Maverick customers getting screwed right now.
This sh*t show starts with @Ford Motor Company

My private offer code was [numbers in my sales code]22[ordercode]1. I feel like that's probably a standard, or pretty close.

This seemed wrong to me (because the certificate #s are usually random).....but I did check one of our customers w/ this private offer, and it matches exactly with what you say!

I am in the same situation here. I placed an order for a 22 Maverick that was never scheduled and was rolled over to 2023. The $1,750 private transition offer is not showing up in my account. I’ve called Ford Marketing, asked my dealer to reach out to an inventory specialist, I even tried reaching out to Ford inventory specialists on Linkedin. No one cares or wants to help. They all say the same thing, “we don’t see the offer in your account, reach out to your dealer to resolve this.” My dealer says he did COVP on my order and my address is the same for both orders. He reached out to Ford and he received no response. It’s ridiculous that I even have to go to such lengths just to get an offer that is supposed to be automatically given to me for waiting over a year for this truck. Why is this process so complicated? Why does no one know what to do? What the hell is wrong with these people at Ford?
Your case is a little different because you were never scheduled. We don't know for sure if your 22 was properly COVPed.

Ford majorly restructured their dealership reps in September. So it is possible they may not be contacting the right person. Maybe talk to GM or sales mananger or someone higher up at the dealership who may get more communications from Ford (rather than a salesman)?

This is from the Ford memo on who to contact if a customer is missing the private offer:
If you believe your customer should have been included in this private offer, and did not receive a certificate, please contact your Sales and Inventory Specialist. We will need the required customer information (Customer Name, Address, Order Number, ROVP verification) and we will confirm eligibility and add the customer to the list.
I'm certain it would have to be one assigned to the dealer, not random one. And they are probably not allowed to deal directly w/ customers....but are there to work with the dealers.

I hope they can get it figured out for you!

I have waited patiently for my Hybrid Lariat order since September 2021. It's been assigned a 22my VIN and assigned a production date only to be pushed back 7 times before being cancelled by Ford. As a 23my it has again been assigned a VIN and scheduled for production in January 2023. The reason I am walking is the dealer refuses to track down the Transitional Private Offer in the amount of $2750.

I have contacted Customer Service and marketing numerous times and they both agree that I am in the right but they say there is nothing they can do since it is a dealer issue. The self professed Maverick expert at CS (Heather) says only the dealer can correct this and she knows of a resource other than the inventory manager but she won't share that with me the customer.

The dealer sales manager read me an email today from his inventory manager that says if there is no certificate number there is nothing he can do. I truly believe that the dealer has no incentive to do the leg work for this knowing I will not buy the truck for $3k over what I was promised in 2021 and he will now have the opportunity to sell it to a desperate customer for $5k over MSRP.

I don't blame Ford; even though their reorder process is F'ed up, I blame my dealer Sheehy Ford Springfield Va. Funny thing is last month a salesman at the stealership told me he still has a personal outstanding Maverick order from 2021 - I wonder if he plans to bend over with vaseline for his purchase.

Tonight I went to another Ford dealer and picked up a 2022 Mustang in eruption green with a 6 speed. I don't think I will miss my Maverick much. No reason to get mad over this; it's just a F'ing truck.

It does sound like they just don't want to sell you the truck.

It is not true that there is nothing that they can do. You were scheduled as a 22, so the COVP was obviously correct.

The instructions from Ford to dealers are:
If you believe your customer should have been included in this private offer, and did not receive a certificate, please contact your Sales and Inventory Specialist. We will need the required customer information (Customer Name, Address, Order Number, ROVP verification) and we will confirm eligibility and add the customer to the list.
It should be simple.

Dealer reps were restructured in September....so they may not be contacting the right person??
Unfortunately, you need your dealership's cooperation to get this done.

If anyone else out there has a dealer claiming that there is nothing that they can do, tell your dealer to refer to EFC 10955. (But if your dealer messed up and didn't do the COVP, there may be nothing that they can do w/ Ford....but they should do something else for you, because messing up the COVP was their fault!)

I hope you enjoy your Mustang!

Oh man can I relate. My dealer changed my order number on my scheduled and cancelled rollover. This caused Ford to not recognize my order as a scheduled rollover and therefore not to assign me a priority 02 for early reschedule. They say that there is nothing they can do for me. Says that I will get scheduled as a priority 10. So friggin mad at those bastards my wife was afraid I would have another heart attack We just bought a 2023 Honda CRV Ex L this weekend for 40 grand……f ##k Ford! When and if my truck comes in , I will sell it. Don’t want the dealer to make an extra dime on it. Did I mention that I was pissed!

Yes, they switched up and restructured the reps in September. Not all of them are as easy to get ahold of as they were before. (I work for a small rural dealer....we used to have 2 main reps, now there are 6 or 7. They used to call and check in with us regularly. Now you have to email /call and wait longer for a response.....) Not everyone at the dealership may know the correct person to contact, but someone does. There were emails sent w/ contact info for the new people.

So I am not surprised that they may have a hard time contacting the correct person, but they should be able find this info and get in touch with the correct person.

Crazy. Ford was very specific about what order numbers to change and which ones not to change.

I still think there is probably someone they could contact to get you changed to 02

I wonder how much of this trainwreck is due to ford getting rid of all their regional reps?
