I do as well. I'm reaching a point similar to this. As I type this, I can honestly say I never even want to see the word "Ford" in any context......ever, let alone ever giving them my money. I don't care if a dealer makes money on it. That's not MY problem. I can't control any of this, so I will control where my money does go and what I do drive.

No, blame your dealer. This has nothing to do with Ford. If your dealer didn’t properly COVP your original order, you do not have a private offer.

Also, Sheeny is horrible. I look for mavericks daily around the country and just more scummy insane ADM.
Yeah but also if ford was able to just produce all my22 my dealer wouldn't had to be worried

Well if Ford just produced all 22s they took orders for ....... maybe a little to do with Ford. Just a little...... it is a Ford dealership. As a customer I am just wanting to buy a product at the price signed for.

I am in the same situation here. I placed an order for a 22 Maverick that was never scheduled and was rolled over to 2023. The $1,750 private transition offer is not showing up in my account. I’ve called Ford Marketing, asked my dealer to reach out to an inventory specialist, I even tried reaching out to Ford inventory specialists on Linkedin. No one cares or wants to help. They all say the same thing, “we don’t see the offer in your account, reach out to your dealer to resolve this.” My dealer says he did COVP on my order and my address is the same for both orders. He reached out to Ford and he received no response. It’s ridiculous that I even have to go to such lengths just to get an offer that is supposed to be automatically given to me for waiting over a year for this truck. Why is this process so complicated? Why does no one know what to do? What the hell is wrong with these people at Ford?

Same here to the point I kinda insinuate that my sales man was being shady and now I feel bad.

I came from a challenger. Best choice I could’ve made, especially going to college. So practical. I also ordered 09/21 but for an XL. Hope it turns around for you!

I have waited patiently for my Hybrid Lariat order since September 2021. It's been assigned a 22my VIN and assigned a production date only to be pushed back 7 times before being cancelled by Ford. As a 23my it has again been assigned a VIN and scheduled for production in January 2023. The reason I am walking is the dealer refuses to track down the Transitional Private Offer in the amount of $2750.

I have contacted Customer Service and marketing numerous times and they both agree that I am in the right but they say there is nothing they can do since it is a dealer issue. The self professed Maverick expert at CS (Heather) says only the dealer can correct this and she knows of a resource other than the inventory manager but she won't share that with me the customer.

The dealer sales manager read me an email today from his inventory manager that says if there is no certificate number there is nothing he can do. I truly believe that the dealer has no incentive to do the leg work for this knowing I will not buy the truck for $3k over what I was promised in 2021 and he will now have the opportunity to sell it to a desperate customer for $5k over MSRP.

I don't blame Ford; even though their reorder process is F'ed up, I blame my dealer Sheehy Ford Springfield Va. Funny thing is last month a salesman at the stealership told me he still has a personal outstanding Maverick order from 2021 - I wonder if he plans to bend over with vaseline for his purchase.

Tonight I went to another Ford dealer and picked up a 2022 Mustang in eruption green with a 6 speed. I don't think I will miss my Maverick much. No reason to get mad over this; it's just a F'ing truck.
And it still has 1st year model run issues, fire 🔥 hazard issues, Air bag issues, Brake issues, And let's not forget the ever growing problem with the engine Sutter problem with the possibility the fix will be removing the engine and transmission to replace ( I think it's something like a harmonic balancer) or some such problem. So enjoy your new Mustang I wish I had the money to put one in my garage! Happy Holidays 🎄🎉🥂🥳

Thanks, FWIW the mustang is a new 22 eruption green ecoboost no option manual transmission marked down to $25,855. Not loaded like my Lariat order but far more fun to drive I'm sure.

I consider myself fortunate to not have any problems with my Hybrid after 10k.
Also, very fortunate to have a Mustang in the garage as well!

Blame Ford they come up with the BS policies!
Yes blame ford. Ford allowes dealers to get away with shady stuff. They allow price gouging. They do nothing when a vehicle is sold out from under someone. They allow preditory lending practices. Blame ford because they simply don't care, and they could have fixed this.

bro if I got a vin and it didn’t go threw I would be heartbroken. I did talk to the customer rep for Ford hotline and she did say that there is a shortage of tow hitches right now but if the tow hitches including the package, I don’t know how you can or what can be done about that. If I could takeoff the tow hitch and just have it made without that I would and then add it on later but I don’t know how to change my order.
It's a sad state of affairs when a US car company can no longer source enough steel tow hitches. Old Henry must be rolling in his grave.

If I don't get my Maverick(2022 rollover order) hybrid before Toyota comes out with a compact, I am jumping ship and will probably never look at another Ford again.
