    It seems to me that when your foot isn't on the gas, L applies the maximum regenerative breaking possible, without going into standard breaks. If you use the brake pedal, you need to look at EV coach to try to maximize regen breaking without going into standard braking.

    You need to turn on the EV Coach in the star screen.

  14. Engine Control shut down

    It measures brake pressure. If the engine is off at a light and you anticipate the light changing soon, you can let up slightly on the brake for the engine to restart so you won't have that slight delay to get going again.

    Also experiencing this on my one-month old 2023 XLT. Both on default Ford Audio and on Android Auto. @Ford Motor Company EDIT: I originally turned the car off and on again, same thing. Then I let the car sit for an hour and now it's back to normal. Odd.

    Ah, usually you can notice the small circles on the bumpers for those. I guess these are a different type.
