I called customer service about my "Private Offer" yesterday.
The nice lady confirmed that I have one in there ready to apply.
Then I casually asked her about my delivery status.
Reported that it is in Arizona on its way to me (northern Ohio)
Asked her if she could give an approximate date of delivery.
The date she pulled out of the air was 03/30.
I checked over the Private Offer certificate she sent me and it lists an expiration date of 04/30/23.
That would suggest that I would only have 4 days between anticipated delivery (which we know always gets moved back) and expiration of the offer.

Has anyone any information about the Private Offer? Is that expiration date written in stone or will there be an extension, seeing as one of the reasons that we get the Offer is because FoMoCo took so long to deliver the vehicle.

Another point of interest. Has anyone recently received that little goodie back of FIT parts they tossed at us for the delay?

On the up-side: When the nice lady was done with me she apparently submitted a request for financing with Ford.
When she forwarded my copy of the OFFER certificate, it included a Pre-approval for Ford Credit financing which I didn't request.
That was a nice bonus as I was curious how much they were willing to loan.

Another question I have. Has anyone used the PRIVATE OFFER in conjunction with AXZ plan(Ford retiree)? In past purchases, the A plan price was printed on the window sticker. It is not on the sticker for this vehicle, but the confirmation of the OFFER is included below the total MSRP.

That was a failure to proof read carefully. Expiration date is 04/03/23, not 04/30/23.

My understanding is that the private offer certificates expire every three months and are then reissued if the truck hasn’t arrived.

Yes, had you looked earlier, you would have seen the original 1/3/23 expiration date when they first created the Private Offer...then they extended it to 4/3/23. This particular certificate will keep getting extended until we are all dealt with.

Imagine if Ford failed to delivery the orders with private offers in 2023 that carried over from 2022. What will Ford do with those private offers? I recall they said no carry over for year 2024.

I would think as the time rolls by, they might come to realize that dealers did not prioritize the 22 rollovers as they were told to do...so then maybe some genius could look to see what certificates are still outstanding when they get closer to the end of the MY run and insure they get built, allocation be damned.

In my mind, Ford should have assigned them a Priority 9 or something to separate them out last September. Ford seemed to have learned when they assigned Priority 2 to those of us who were cancelled VINs, as that seems to be moving along. My 11/3/21 cancelled/reorder is waiting for a truck in Denver for the final leg of shipment.

They aren't doing that, but rather it seems to be all down to allocations. But they at the same time telling those with private offer orders there are supply issues and can't build them, while they are building the new orders placed in Sept. 2022 with the exact same specs. I wonder if they will be sued by someone later on for misleading the retail buyers?

I'd love to know where you reached customer service at. My truck is finally supposed to arrive in a month after 15 months of waiting.

Thanks. :-)
