Not too long ago you lost about 30% the day you drove it off the lot.
Saw a "Great Deal!" used 2016 Nissan Frontier RWD advertised at the local dealer for $28k in the sale flyer they mailed out for Black Friday. The repo man is going to be busy in the next couple years on these upside down used cars/trucks.

Sold our XL Hybrid a couple weeks ago to Carmax for $28k.

Vroom offered $20,000

CarGurus was at $16,261

Carvana was at $24,800

Here are the offers I received on my 22 Maverick XL Hybrid with 110 miles in Velocity Blue with a moonroof and hitch with an out the door cost of $24,300.

Car Gurus $17,656
Vroom. $19,528
Carvana. $24,868
Local dealer started at $28k and went up in 1k increments to $31k before I said I’ve decided to keep it.

Location and availability in the area does affect the offers. I’m in Northern California.

these app based companies aggregate the price based on the market they are serving in. And they are mostly about to go out of business. The repo market is going to go gangbusters once all these severance packages are all spent by who ever is unfortunate enough to lose their jobs.

They offered me $26000 for my two week old Lariat Lux Hybrid with less than 200 miles on it.
Just was curious. I did not try the other car buying outfits out there.
