@fordvideoguy Are you getting any glimmer of hope as to when Ford will fix the glitch/unlock converted Lariat Lux orders yet? My dealer (who I think is now up to speed) hasn't been able to get any response from Ford as he continues to try and fail at opening my 23-P99 order.

Any estimate at all from Ford?

Thanks, Tim. @FordMotorCompany has to know they are stressing dealers AND customers alike...customers who are ordering the high trim/more money for them.

As my salesman said this AM, they couldn't have made this worse if they tried. Seems they would have been better off just transferring the order with NO options other than trim level, and that would require a conversation to get things adjusted and added back in...rather than trying to do it via an IT program (altho it doesn't seem to be a complex program to write). Just venting...

**Dealer just called. I go in to sign after work!**
I sent a text to my salesman today asking when I could come in and make changes to my rolled order. He told me that his GM said "Ford has instructed us not to do anything with orders yet. There is some malfunction they're working on."
I sent him this video and asked if they had tried to modify my XLT order? Waiting to hear back. I am nervous. I will be out of town next week and into December. I want to make my changes now to get things moving again.

If '22 orders get rolled into '23, that, to me, means that '23 orders will be pushed back (as they should be, they got here first). Ford couldn't build the numbers ordered in '22, how long will it take to finish the '22 orders before even starting on the '23 orders?
Some '22 orders have waited OVER a year. If '22 orders are rolled over in front of '23 orders, What does that mean for '23 orders.
Give us you "best guess" timeline.
Gotcha, I see now. They do try to cut off orders as close to their capacity as what they think they can build. In 22MY, they had delay issues with hybrid motors. Hopefully that doesn't happen in 23MY. But my take is that they have more hybrid orders then they can build in 23 and they will cancel the orders that can't be built. They told dealers that they have no plan to carryover 23 orders into 24MY. Of course they may change their minds, they are in a habit of doing that.

I found text that seems to indicate they are waiting until 11/30 to make the transition and honestly didn't care what the dealers put it at as long as it was 10-19. That said, the post also said these conversions were supposed to happen a week ago (maybe a reference to after scheduling for last week). So, YMMV.

22MY Maverick Hybrid Cancellation Orders- Next Steps for Dealers
  • Any 22MY Mavericks Hybrids (Not 23MY) that currently are scheduled for production w/ a date AFTER 11/25/22 will be canceled.
  • Because the retail order bank is closed, Ford will automatically convert these orders over to 23MY in WBDO for the dealers which will occur after 11/9/22.
  • To ensure there are no issues with any of the orders when Ford is converting for you, you need to make sure there are no 23MY orders that were entered into your WBDO that have the same order# as the Mavericks about to be canceled, since the converted will carry over their order#. If you do then just change the order# of the 23MY to something different and submit it.
  • After 11/9 when Ford converts the to-be cancelled 22MY into 23MY, you will notice that these orders will be in 99 priority. You have until 11/30/22 to remove the 99, which you can change to anything between 10-19. It does not matter what priority you place it at because after 11/30 Ford will be placing an 02 priority code on these to get them scheduled again ASAP for the customer.
  • Very important to remember, during the conversion process sometimes options may not transfer over. This is why they are converting to a 99, so you have the opportunity to go in and make sure everything is correct or make any changes when removing the 99. Once Ford places the 02 priority on these orders, there will NOT be the option to make changes as Ford will be trying to schedule these as quick as possible.
Great catch, I missed that part where they will be waiting until 11/30 to give the priority 2. Wow, is all I can say. So until then they will be looked at with the other priority 10 orders, no priority until December. That doesn't seem right.

Could also explain why Ford didn't do any scheduling this week. Gives them time to move them up on 11/30 to do scheduling on 12/1.

Thanks Tim for the video. Had the lux package so had already decided to drop spray in bedliner and rail system. Because of your video I knew rail system had 2 parts (salesman didn't) and kept the d rings. I'll add rail system later. Dealer said they will do spray in liner for same price. Thanks for all you do for us

Update on Lariats still locked: ETA for correction is COB Monday, 11/21. Don't hurt the messenger.
I told my salesman...he can rest easy with me not bugging him until Monday. At this point, I think THEY (salesman and GM) want it fixed just so I'll go away.
