It is my understanding that changes like that will be possible. Our small dealership only have 1 affected order, and will not need to make changes, so I won't have 1st hand experience in trying to make those changes myself.
If you are talking about a 22 order, don't make any changes to the 22 order. Then once it is a 23 order, you can change anything except for motor. If you change the trim or body type, it will reset your order date.
Thank you Tim. Yes. I am part of the recent forced conversion to 2023. Hopefully that gets finalized by the middle of this month. I plan to add back the luxury package to my XLT so glad that won't reset my order date or priority.

Wait for them to duplicate your 22 order as a 23. Make sure your dealer doesn't have a 23 order with the same Order Number as your 22 order. Once the 23 order is in there, you need to update the order. Remember that spray in Bedliner, bed rails, and remote start are no longer included in the XLT and Lariat Luxury Package. Also, on the Lariat, Adaptive Cruise Control, Evasive Steering Assist, and Rear Park Sensors are not in the Lariat Luxury Package but in the CoPilot 360 Assist Package.

I didn't track the rail car personally, no. I was given the information from my dealer when it first arrived in Dearborn at their "corporate manufacturing" facility. They told me the bumper was scratched during shipping. Now I will say that this truck was also completed June 26th so it's affected by the airbag recall, most likely.
