Maybe he's got a three year lease on something else because the maverick took so long? Getting rolled again to a 24 would basically make a three year lease while waiting make sense... the fact that is even something we think about is pretty hilarious.


Hey maybe that can be a promotion when the 24 order banks open. Order a 24 now...get a deal on a three year lease on something else that'll last you until we build your 26 in 27.

I had very little interaction with Ed during the wait, which was fine.

Haven't talked to my dealer in a long time but going to see what he has I say today about the Dec 19th email I received. It's been 379 days since I put in my 2021 order

Side note: I drove north thru Kentucky and by the speedway, it's packed with sooooo many new Ford trucks!! As far as I could see. I wonder if those are waiting for parts.

Makes me angry I refused to reorder when those deals got posted because I didn't want to lose my place in line and I trusted ford to give a damn about their customers and respect order chronology... shows what I know.

Now Best case I'm spending 3-4k more than I would have and I still don't have a truck.

Just wondering, do you know where your truck was before being delivered to dealer?
My truck has been in Columbia SC since Oct. 14th, so don't know how many locations they drop them off of the train to be transported by car carrier to the dealerships? I live in the upstate of SC.

Estimated Build Dates I was quoted since Sep 2022:

I actually ordered a 3% under at Horsham on 10/8 before realizing I should have went with Ed, so I placed an order for an identical truck with Ed on 10/13 and that’s the one that I took delivery of today.

The Horsham order never scheduled. I rolled it over and changed it to an XL and still plan to buy it should it ever come.

Hope will remember to take one at the dealership and will be night time by the time I get her home. (have a 3-4 hour exam afterwards, dilation and all. Will take the back roads a while as it's a dangerous merge on to a split high at rush hour.) Will wait for some sunshine after and then do the ceramic coating, have the NH#18 Oil done. Then will do the tri-fold hard shell tonneau cover and Rokblatz mud flaps. So lots of pictures but may take a week with lots of rain showers in the forecasts plus other stuff.

Will add more during the next 7-10 days.
