So, just to confirm, are ALL orders now scheduled for any date in December going to be 2023s? So no Velocity Blue if it is produced after November 30?

22MY Maverick Hybrid Order Cancellations
ACTION REQUESTED

• Certain scheduled 22MY Maverick Hybrid orders will need to be cancelled due to supplier shortages at 22MY Balance Out.
• Affected 22MY Stock and Retail orders have had their scheduled build date pushed to December 12th and will eventually be cancelled by Ford Motor Company. All allocation will be returned to the affected dealers for 23MY production.
• Be aware that Ford is working on a solution to transfer cancelled retail orders over to 23MY and will provide additional updates and instructions at a future date.

SUMMARY
We will be required to submit cancellations on certain scheduled 22MY Maverick Hybrid orders due to supplier shortages at the 22MY Balance Out. Primarily retail orders will be impacted by these balance out cancellations. Your Sales and Inventory teams will provide a list of each dealer’s impacted orders.
All allocation will be returned to the affected dealers as 23MY allocation in the coming wholesales. This replacement allocation will likely be provided over several months – not all at once.
Ford is working on a solution to automatically transfer over these 22MY cancelled orders to 23MY on the dealers’ behalf. When these orders are transfered to 23MY, we will plan to prioritize them ahead of other 23MY Hybrid orders pending other commodities restrictions. A future communication will be provided when we have final instructions on moving these orders to 23MY with any additional actions required.
TIMELINE AND KEY DATES

• October 16: Affected 22MY Maverick Hybrid orders moved to December 12th build week
• TBD: Affected 22MY Maverick Hybrid orders transferred to 23MY order bank and cancelled on the dealers’ behalf
• Late October: Follow-up communication provided with additional actions/next steps

Take it as you want to take it (believe it or not), but FordVideoGuy clarified this morning on his short livestream that Ford said when he asked that it was ALL of December orders. Yes, the memo only speaks to one December week, but he says he specifically asked about this and that was the answer.

I'm wondering if the build dates may finally be final? I just got my 5th push. Now I'm 11/28 for an XLT hybrid with moonroof and hitch ordered 363 days ago. Nothing special. Who wants to bet that many 11/28 build dates get moved to MY2023? According to Tim, price protection would probably apply as would any incentives. I just want my friggin' truck. 2022 - 2023? Who cares? I'm not selling for a very long time.

Just checked and I got an email from the Ford liars. My base hybrid ordered in October, 2021 has been moved from an original build date of September 5 for the NINTH time to December 5. Thanks a lot you unethical garbage !

Ordered My XLT Hybrid std pkg w/ spray in bedliner on 11/10/21. I received a Vin# and a build date on 10/24/22, then changed to 10/17/22, then back to 10/24, then to 10/31, then to 11/7, then 11/14, now to 11/28/22. This is absolutely insane, and I expect to have it changed again no doubt. It's been frustrating for so many of us.....

call or chat with customer service. 11/28 dates may translate to 12/19 and 2023 which is what many of us are finding out.

You may want to contact Ford's CS. I have had the same build date moves as well as multiple others who last heard 11/28. CS has told me I'm now the dreaded Dec 19th.

Depends on your Sales Person and if they immediately entered it into the system. I bet thousands were inputted in those last two hours. If you received a Ford Corp. email than you can only wait!
