2022 Maverick hybrid XLT VIN was confirmed last month.
Build date mid-October 2022 was pushed out to early December 2022.
I'm honestly not certain how the 2023 production windows have started, but I'm just posting this here for folks who have pre-ordered to level set expectations.

Ordered: October 2021
Build dates (2022): October 16, October 23, November 13, December 4

I'm told that since I have a VIN, it should still be produced as components should have been allocated, but it's already been over a year.
The dealership doesn't have much more information, and I don't blame them. it is what it is.

Any trucks with a December build schedule are going to be reentered by Ford as 2023 MY. You should be staying in touch withe dealership as they are suppose to get more details later this month. (Not many days left for that to happen. )

Yep - Just checked again now, dealerships still have not been updated by Ford yet about details for the next steps...

I find that irredeemably stupid. I just don't see any possible excuse for stringing so many people on for over a year, and then cancelling orders with no information of any kind. A multi billion dollar company less competent than a damn hot dog stand.

They are probably still trying to figure out how they are going to handle it!

They did the same thing the roll overs. They did not give dealers much time to prepare and at least half of them were clueless on how to handle it. And then the MY23 order window closed in 5 days. Ford seems to be making decisions at the last minute with little communication.

I just got the email that my hybrid xlt also got move to December. It’s so frustrating to me. I order mine a day after it was announced. I got my vin this year months ago. I was supposed to get mine since April and here I’m still being pushed. I remember in late summer I got an email if I wanted to downgrade on my options since short in parts. I call my dealer right away so they can remove them. They just couldn’t.
