I am a Volvo wagon guy. I've had many. Also, I have had 2 pickups - Tacoma and a Ranger. My 2005 Volvo V70 was getting on in miles and age. When I heard of the Maverick I had to have one. Front wheel drive with 40 MPG plus more utility than a wagon? So far so good. I've done a lot of hauling...
Has anyone experimented with pressing the L on the shifter? When I am coming to a red light I'll press the L and the Mav charges faster and naturally slows the Mav down quicker. I am still on my 1st tank of gas so I don't have much of a track record yet. I will definitely start using slippery mode.
Frederick Ford in Seaford DE. Part of Hertrich dealer network. I worked with Tim Wells, Sales Mgr. No markup. While i did wait 522 days, it was not their fault. Easy transaction.
I understand that many of you are still waiting to get scheduled and I really shouldn't necessarily weigh in here since my Maverick has shipped, but just wanted to provide some context as I see some folks here have only been waiting 6+ months. I am currently on day 517 for a hybrid XLT. Mine was...
505 days so far. XLT Hybrid. Mine has shipped but it's stuck in East St. Louis/Gateway Railyard. It has been there since 3/1. It still has to run the gauntlet through East Palistine, on to Conway, PA then Wilmington DE. Then get put on a car carrier for the final 75 miles. I project delivery...
Congrats. If anything was going to go wrong with shipping it would be with my Maverick. They probably lost it or misplaced it. Maybe someone stole it! who knows. I asked Ford chat. They know nothing. I'll try my dealer.
My truck has not left Hermosillo yet. It could still be in the body shop I guess, although it says arranging shipment. I also think the mess in East Palestine is not helping things.
I've searched the forum but I have not seen much in the way of shipping timeframes. My Maverick was built on Jan. 27th. The WS says it will be shipped by rail. The truck is STILL waiting to be shipped. I'm going on 4 weeks now. I hear from others on MTC that their truck was built and immediately...
today is 488 days for me. Hybrid XLT ordered Oct.21 2021. Truck was built on 1/27. Still waiting for it to get on a train. Ford will no longer provide shipper information due to harassment by Maverick customers, supposedly. I'm hoping to see it some time this year.
For once I'm almost glad that my truck, while built, is still waiting to be shipped to Delaware. I'm at day 487 and been waiting almost a month to " arrange shipping".
Ordered XLT Hybrid in Oct. 2021. Now on day 477, but who's counting. Truck is built but waiting for shipment for 2 weeks now. Ford said there is a rail car shortage. What else could go wrong!
I am in the same boat. My XLT Hybrid completed the build on 1/27. I am still waiting for it to be shipped. Ford says I could have the first week of March. At this rate I'll be lucky if it ships by that date. I have no life, apparently, as I check vehicle tracking up to 5 times a day. I've been...
I'm not getting any emails from Ford for some reason, but my Maverick is finally in production according to vehicle tracking website. Of course I've only been waiting 463 days. I think they are trying to wrap up the MY22 rollovers before they get to the MY23 orders. Although I have seen on this...
At least Some retail orders are being built this week. I can report that I'm finally in production, if I can believe the vehicle tracking website. It even started prod 1 week early. Course I've only been waiting 461 days so far.
