Can anyone confirm the Illinois farm bureau is the cheapest at like $20?
Can't say about Illinois, but Washington was $20 and my dealer accepts it.

I don't think it's necessary. I created a certificate by logging in online on the Farm Bureau Rebate page. Emailed it to dealer and he said it showed up in Smart Vincent.
BTW I joined in Illinois for $20. I live in Pennsylvania. You don't have to live in Illinois, own farm land or be a farmer to join the Illinois Farm Bureau. They will gladly take your 20 bucks.

Amazing that you were able to get 4% under invoice? Was this a dealer specific deal?
Yea, 4% under invoice , plus another $500 off.

This cannot be used alongside the student/grad discount right?

If you claim it after delivery does it still go through your dealer?

Anyone know how it works if I bought a 22 using farm bureau discount and have a 23 on order? Can I use it again or does it have to wait a year? Or never again?
For Utah, the fine print says the following: "Must be a member for 30 consecutive days prior to purchase. Limit one Bonus Cash offer per vehicle purchase or lease. Limit of five new eligible vehicle purchases or leases per Farm Bureau member during program period."

I'm guessing its similar in most states???

I know that there are posts within this forum regarding the $500 off from the Farm Bureau, but they might be a little bit dated and so I wanted to share my research that i've done. This research was up-to-date as of 10/14/2022

1. Membership fee for Farm Bureau depends on your state, for example, in Utah, its ~$75 to join for a year, i've read other places are cheaper.
2. You need to be a member for at least 30-days before you can even login to the rebate portal: https://fordrecognizesu.com/farmbureau/Login/Login
3. Even though the promotion is set to expire at the first of 2023, when I called the Ford Program Headquarters, they said that is VERY likely it will roll-over to next year as its been a thing since 2021 and they didn't have any indication that it would go away.
4. It is available for all Ford trucks, interestingly enough, Utah doesn't indicate that the Maverick is one of the "eligible" vehicles, upon calling Ford, they confirmed that the Maverick is indeed available for the rebate.
5. They also said that you can have the rebate applied to your purchase agreement prior to delivery or have it applied at the time of delivery
6. This appears to be a rebate that few take advantage of so they mentioned that the dealer might not be aware of this. The dealer is also welcome to call 1-888-322-5862 to understand how to process the rebate.
7. There are multiple options to show the dealer the discount, but the most common is to print the actual rebate out and present to the dealer.
8. You have 1-year to redeem the rebate after logging in and requesting the rebate. Example: if i were to go in and print the rebate out on November 15th, 2022 I would have until November 15th, 2023 to use it, even though the rebate is said to expire in January of 2023.
9. Dealers are NOT obligated to take the rebate, however, there isn't really any incentive to have them not do it. They get paid regardless. Their suggestion was to call the dealer and get them to agree to take the rebate if that is something that you are concerned about in signing up with the Farm Bureau.
10. In MOST cases, this rebate is going to give more money back on the Maverick than x-plan pricing. This cannot be combined with any Ford plan discounts.

Hoping that this helps as there is a ton of misinformation on the internet. If you've used the rebate, would love to hear your story with your dealer!

Sadly my dealer screwed me over for it because I didn't have the farm bureau membership before I ordered as opposed to when I was finally able to purchase..... Ordered in September of last year, was able to purchase in May of this year. I feel like standing outside of their business with a sign that says no Hamilton report *ucks their customers.

I live in Ohio, but joined in Illinois for $25.00 . After my 30 days.... my Maverick came in 90 days later... my dealer made all the arrangements and applied the $500.00 discount.

This is really helpful! I'm in Utah and had some of the same questions regarding maverick applicability and how to claim the rebate. Thanks for putting the time in to post. Hope I get to use this knowledge in about a month!

Utah Maverick owners unite!!! Not sure where you are at but would love to meet up sometime… if my MY23 comes in before I buy a different car…

min all seriousness, glad that the post helped, I was super confused and the Utah Farm Bureau was helpful, but not to the level that I needed.

so far, as a first time “potential” ford owner, I’ve actually been impressed every time I’ve called them.

Glad to know. I asked Ashlie and she said they would confirm if it did when my VIN generated, which of course it hasn't yet.

Phone number to join is 309-663-6497. Only costs $20 to join and you get a $500 discount per Ford truck up to 5 Ford trucks per membership year. Lightning is excluded. You also get a rural/farm oriented magazine periodically. As mentioned earlier, you do not have to be a resident of Illinois, a farmer, or own farmland to join. You can buy your Ford truck in any state.

I got the same deal. Was worried it wouldn't apply but no prob when I got the truck. Had to go with purchase date not order date as certificate was only good in 2022. My invoice only increased $200 so I still came out ahead.

One issue I ran into was that I joined the Illinois Farm Bureau after I ordered my Maverick, but Before I actually purchased it. Kind of unclear how that works (not stated on the certificate) because it normally doesn't take 8 months to over a year to get the vehicle.

Long story short, it was denied at first, but my dealer submitted an exception and Ford eventually sent me the $500 check.

Good tip! I used the farm bureau in combination w the 4% under invoice deal Chapman had. No problems at all!
well, they refused to let me do Farm Bureau and the 4%. Seems like a hit and miss with this dealer.
