The tailgate lettering, to me, is just a given. And the tailgate assist. I could go without ANY of the other options, but not those two.
Tailgate assist is a practical addition, tailgate lettering is completely subjective. I personally think it looks tacky, other opinions are abundantly available.

Well first, a bed liner since it’s not recommended on order. A hard rollup tonneau (the one that shows the ford logo is cool) rubber floor mats and bed extender (works to keep items near the tailgate) and forgot I already ordered a home link mirror long time ago

I don't think any accessories are necessary. Used to be trucks just had beat up beds and it was part of them being a truck. Trucks became luxury items and thus beds became precious. Frankly, I like the look of a scratched-up truck bed, mostly because you never see one any more. My chances of actually scratching it up, though, are remote.

I will probably put my points to a cover but probably wouldn't buy one without the points. I don't have a need to leave things in the bed, and can choose when to haul stuff based on weather.

Spray in bedliners significantly lower corrosion rates if you use your truck like a truck.

My Tacoma has a composite bed which I really like. No possibility of corrosion or dents, scratches. Constantly throwing landscape stone in there.

I think chrome letters look great on a dark paint job.
Also hood ornament. Kinda throwback. Kinda a poke at Tesla.

Plus don't ya think every respectable truck should have bull horns on the front?

With tailgate assist you can't "lock" the bed at half-way to carry plywood though, if I'm not mistaken. It's either/or. It's a small lightweight tailgate and I'd probably get plywood two or three times a year. Are the assist struts removable on the fly without tools?

Just a bed liner of whatever type you prefer. That’s the only across the board must have IMO. Guess I’m just getting old though, and just don’t care about all the bs to personalize it stuff. On my XL if it does materialize, bed liner, tint (must have for hot TX sun), and a strong maybe to likely possibility, either a set of XLT takeoff or cheaper decent looking wheels to replace the steelies. that’s all I ever really care to do with it.
