A fantastic car/van. Love that orange..

That orange is the reason I paid full sticker for it. Only vehicle I ever did that for until now.

They were small for sure, but still a 4 berth, bear in mind we British build 48 houses on one acre, so small is relative. And when I moved to America my e250 conversion van was palatial by comparison. Literally 2 weeks ago just parked my e350 triton v10 for my new transit 250 high top EXL.. its bigger than my British house I think.. lol. I’m so spoiled.. but don’t expect the transit to last as long as an eco online.. they are fantastic vehicles.

My house is on a small city lot at 1/10th of an acre. But I still managed to have a 24'x40' deep garage.

Transit connects never did anything for me. Maybe it was the euro design, or the big forehead that makes them look like something out of a clown movie. I know underneath the Maverick it is much the same, but I prefer the US style of the Maverick much better. I feel the TC should be available as a hybrid too. That would make them more interesting. Ford better step up their battery game!

The transit connect was an evolution of the Ford Fiesta, so it’s shape was limited by the floor pan I think,. The maverick should allow for a bit more length and a less boxy shape. The second gen was focus based “I think”. So a little more room for style.. but the whole thing evolved from the ford courier, which was pure fiesta. (The fiesta car you have in America in the late 70s I think was available as a van in Europe).
i have no doubt the Mav based TC will be hybrid, and probably evolve to a pure electric option also.

I can see why. And the 2022 Mav was the first I paid full sticker for. Lol. At least no dealer markup’s.. now getting them at sticker is a miracle. Lol

Only in America my friend.. I have lived in shoebox houses in The UK, and in Asia. The space and toys we have in the USA are amazing,, we live a kings life over here. as my Chinese ex once said, only in America even the very poor have car and house with land.
