Confused... received scheduling email for 2022MY Maverick

I'm a bit confused. I had thought that 22 orders were finished being scheduled, and that anything yet to be scheduled after early September was going to be pushed back to 23MY.

This past week I received my scheduling email from Ford informing me my 22MY Hybrid is scheduled for build the week of 10/17/22. Does this seem incongruent with what has been communicated to us? Just want to make sure the email hasn't been sent in error, or that the vehicle is indeed a 22MY and not a 23MY. Original order date 10/19/21.

Most likely you actually got a scheduling date about a month or 2 ago. Ford doesn't send out emails about it until its close to your scheduled week. The only way to know before getting the email would be to ask your dealer or call / chat with Ford.

They are filling in were they can. So while not doing full scheduling, there will sxhedule one or two here and there.
You can always call Ford Customer Service you want confirmation.
Looks like a 22 VIN to me.

They did stop scheduling, but when Ford changed their scheduling notification methodology a few months back it doesn't actually notify when you are initially scheduled. Rather it e-mails you when it gets scheduled to a prospective day (even though they only tell you the week). That doesn't meant it can't still be potentially rescheduled.

I got scheduled about a month ago, only found out because of the chat line. Just received the scheduling email last week

I'll see if I can find the updated info. It used to be that you would get an email once you got a production week. That changed a few months ago when Ford decided to stop sending emails for scheduling until a week or so before their actual scheduled date.
