You didn't crowd someone in a parking space somewhere, did you? Because when someone parks on or over the line next to my beater car, or older trucks I have owned in the past, I intentionally slam the door as hard as I can into them when I get or squeeze myself back into my vehicle. I'm sure I'm not the only one. LOL
Clearly from New York….

Some F'er did that to me at the airport and parked illegally in a no-park space, crowding my driver's side door when I still had my Accord.

I'm gonna keep using car washes because it's just a car, who cares. Gonna drive yourself crazy trying to keep stuff perfect.
Nah, some of us liking our vehicles to look new to me isn't gonna drive me crazy. I happen to really enjoy keeping my vehicles clean and looking as sharp as possible. Just like my current vehicle a 2019 Edge ST that looks brand new.

To each their own I guess. All the salt, dirt and gravel I drive through I'd go crazy trying to keep it looking like new. I abuse the shit out of my vehicles lol

Our conundrum is the local brush wash is very cheap, has free vacuums and they work great. I didn't care with my old car since it was all dinged up anyway. The brush wash place always left the car very clean, too

We have a local touch free place that basically uses a high pressure spray but no brushes. It does ok so long as the car isn't that bad but tends to leave the wheels dirty unless you hit it with wheel cleaner first. So far it's done a nice job on the mav and haven't had any trouble with the paint because of it.

I only use touchless car washes so I don't get the swirl marks. If it really needs a bath or has a lot of bugs to clean off I'll hand wash. I don't get too worried about keeping it super new looking. Stuff happens. Cars get old. I don't have the time or energy to obsess over little details. It's a great truck that is made for doing truck stuff. Life goes on.

Same. Pressure washer, high quality gun and foam cannon with the right chemicals is therapeutic for me. My neighbors are elderly and don’t drive often but I like making sure their new suv stays looking and feeling new. Maybe similar to someone who likes to garden.
