$100 gift card from Ford just for calling and inquiring about order | MaverickTruckClub - 2022+ Ford Maverick Pickup Forum, News, Owners, Discussions
I have not used the water bottle yet but it fits.
I don't have display on the knobs on my June built 22 Lariat. Ford probably ran out of parts back then. It's a bit inconvenient to check the set temperatures but it's not a big deal either. Just need to turn the knobs to show the temperatures on the screen.
Maverick hybrid ice is getting ~20 mpg in city and slightly more on freeway. If you only get 20-22 mpg overall you are on ice all the time, little help from the battery. Something is not right.
I agree with you, it's neither hybrid regen nor first time hybrid driver problem. It's a Maverick brake (software) problem. I drove Prius before and own Lexus hybrid now, never had this issue. Other Ford hybrids don't have this problem either. Granted that different transmission acts...
In normal driving conditions the brake works out fine. It's just at creeping speeds, either rolling to a stop or at slow crawling speeds in parking lot the brake sometimes grabs all of a sudden, or you need to stomp it to make it stop. In other words, it's not linear and not predictable. Once in...
I have experienced the same brake clunking three or four times so far at creeping speeds in the parking garage at work. Once it was so loud that scared the sh-t out of the guy walking right next. Not every time but it happens and it's unpredictable. Understand it's the hybrid regen brake thing...
I got the hybrid for the fuel efficiency, not for 0-60. It's perfectly adequate for my needs. It's actually not sluggish at all, even in ECO or normal mode. I tried sport mode the other day and it jumped. I have another go-kart like vehicle to go from 0 to 60 in ~4 seconds so no need to do that...
Thanks for reminding. I got the $100 gift card in June and forgot about it. Got on the website and placed an order for a Bronco backpack and a Maverick water bottle (hope it fits in the front door, LOL), for $99.98 with free shipping. (y)
Maverick's brake is not only nonlinear but also nonpredictable, especially at low creeping speeds. At high speeds it's not that smooth either like all the other cars I have driven. My first Ford and I am wondering do all Ford cars have brakes like this?
Just experienced this at work parking lot when slow creeping to a empty parking slot. Very loud and sounded like something broke. Scared the sh*t out of person next to my truck. Month old hybrid Lariat with 1,469 miles on the gauge. Not the first time but it seems getting worse every time it...
