The virtual chat with Customer service worked like garbage for me, I called and was out through to someone in about seven minutes, and the lady was able to verify I'm all good very quickly. Skip the virtual and just call guys lol.

I called the 800-334-4375 number and after routing and a pause and verifying my personal info, the nice young lady found my order via the preview Order# and Sales Code#. So my order was 'found' OK...

But she urged me to contact my dealer to ensure/complete the COVP process.

My dealer entered 112 orders on Friday alone and I only live in a moderately sized town (38,000 last census). Now, that said, I was not told if that was for that specific dealer or that dealer group, which is five different dealers throughout the state.

Why would you doubt that? Many dealers took pre orders weeks in advance, then entered one after the other when the banks opened. Many dealers have entered over 100 orders themselves.

Even at 30 orders per 3000 ford dealers is 90K - not hard to imagine considering several folks here have stated their dealers have hundreds of orders being put in.

Kind of a different question. How many Mavericks will be in the 40-45000 vehicles ford will build without all the parts

Go to the SEC filing. Ford is specifically calling out "vehicles on wheels" or those built but not yet delivered. They also said, those will be delivered in Q4, which is when the Maverick is to start production.

Add in the comment about "high margin" vehicles and I am almost willing to bet this referring to the parking lot of F-150s.

Or the bank could be over for Customer Specific Orders. The order bank will be open for Dealer Inventory orders possibly with some limitations to build due to known model year constraints. There is not much profit for the dealer on MSRP sales....

True or not, I asked my dealer about Stock orders available to dealers, after mine was placed and confirmed tonight. He said all orders are closed. No dealer stock for 2023. All orders have been filled for 2023 Mavericks as of today for hybrids and tomorrow for Ecoboosts. I am sure Tim will let us know.
