Its less about getting pissed as it is just hoping to get in line. I've got a terminal date of January 2022 - At that point I am getting a new vehicle, Maverick or not.Folks, it's still summer. Plus, that winter storm in Texas has all the pool supply parts in a long wait. Meaning, who knows. There is always something that causes delays. Good things come to those who have patience...is that what they say?Supply chain issues are currently a problem everywhere. Try ordering furniture if you think that this is a "Ford only" problem. My sofa and loveseat combo that I ordered during a Labor Day sales event last year are still in limbo.
I have a Colorado with a factory spray-in liner that has a big bow-tie in it. Can''t say I've noticed it more than once or twice.I haven't read through the rest of this thread yet but there is a difference in the factory spray in bed liner and one done at the dealer. The one done at the factory has the ford logo in it while the ones done elsewhere don't. This was talked about on a Youtube video I saw. I can't recall which one now. May have been @fordvideoguy who mentioned it. Most people probably don't care though.
I'm not going to remove a wanted feature just so I can get it a month or two earlier especially since I plan to drive it for 10 years. Keep it in perspective.
Check out the Ford Bronco Launch on B6G, and remember that Bronco Reservations opened up July 13, 2020 and there are now about 5,000 of the estimated 150,000 Reservations delivered in 2021.What happens when it turns into 4-5 months and other items you ordered then go on constraint as well?

It was a more direct way of saying that customer service ALWAYS comes 1st, and I think cost overruns & mismanagement are already occurring. In the case of the Bronco, 375 days is what it is, based on availability. The configuration my wife wants will not be available until the 2023 model year. she has offered several 2021 Bronco's that were not accepted at delivery, but she knows what she wants, and is willing to wait.
Not even going to try to rationalize the comment "I don't care how, but make it happen", other than to say that's how cost overruns and mismanagement occur.
Not a huge deal for me, I understand some people might be in more of a rush. I would just like to see it delivered before summer 2022. Also removing a feature doesn't guarantee that your build suddenly moves into that 14% being produced.I love how some of you keep talking about what we should exp

I fixed my 2004 Sequoia. It had a bad water pump, all the front of the engine had to come off, starter, power steering, serpentine belt, etc, including timing belt. First time doing this but I saved about $1500. Scary, scary scary esp replacing the timing belt part. With this engine if it is wrong , you have to get a new engine. Its less about getting pissed as it is just hoping to get in line. That's a ways off, of course, but the car I'm in now can also fail at any time. Because I fixed it. And I guarantee that if I had fixed your car, you'd to chomping at the bit for a replacement as soon as practical as well.
would that affect the ones that already have a VIN and a build date? Here's this week's current commodities / constraints for the 2022 Maverick, as of August 30.
0% means there's none available at all.
14% means only 14% of total Maverick production is allowed to have that commodity.
17% means only 17% of total Maverick production is allowed to have that commodity.

I replaced my water pump as well (30 dollars, 30 minutes. Accessory belts should be mandatory on all engine designs, would have hung myself from the rafters if I had to dig out the timing chain).I fixed my 2004 Sequoia. No doubt you fixed it as well as a shop would have if it is still running. I know I was waiting for something to go wrong...but it has been 5 months. Keep patching it if anything else happens until you Maverick arrives!!! maybe you are better than you think!!!
No you were scheduled when Ford plans to still have the parts available. This only affects scheduling taking place this week.would that affect the ones that already have a VIN and a build date?
