I don't care if I have to wait a little for a spray-in liner but how long? I don't want to wait 6 months for a bed-liner. Do they have any type of timeline?

.
Have your dealer get the spray-in liner done for you.

I see now that the Splash Guards are no longer Late Availability after I went to the trouble to delete them from my original order. 😂😂😂

Not sure why FORD is offering something they cannot provide or placing limits. Bad business move and they will likely lose customers, especially if orders are not completed in a timely manner. Anything >3 months is unreasonable, imo.
Have you noticed the world situation? Pandemic has slowed production from suppliers.

Fall goes until December 21, right?

I'm not taking the truck without the spray in liner. If that means I wait, so be it.

I just hope I can put the truck into service by December 31 so that I can take the depreciation this year. If not, oh well. I still need a new truck, this is the best one for my needs and I can wait.

I don't know what this information means and would prefer not to interpret. Can someone explain what this means or may mean in any practical sense for maverick orders?
It means if you haven't already been scheduled and have anything showing a 0% you have better chance of being struck by lighting than getting scheduled this week. If you are in the luxury groups it means you have a chance but they will both be low pull rates due to shortages.

A coworker reminded me patience is a virtue. But I have no patience that's why I'm not a doctor 😬

Blah, blah, blah, lots of manufacturers across multiple industries are having issues with suppliers. Do you really think Ford wants this to be happening?

The problem with simply waiting it out is that while you are "patiently" waiting they will keep adding more and more constraints.

I actually wanted to delete my spray in liner on my Lariat lux, and salesman told me it would "mess up the package pricing". Since I sell parts for a living, I was just gonna buy an aftermarket bed mat, which I prefer anyway. I have a build date, but might this mean a pushed back build?
If you have a build date, don't make any changes! You will likely be moved back in production if you do. They will just build another Lariat Lux and move you back. If you remove something from a package, it is custom and subject to change in production date.
I ordered a Lariat Lux and I am okay with the spray in. I am planning to use a bed mat too.

Well this diminishes my hope for a date on Thursday substantially...unless I'm part of the 14 percent

Jeez, it's almost like there's some sort of global commodity shortage based on a pandemic, natural disasters, a ship stuck in the busiest shipping lane in the world for a month, and unprecedented consumer demand.

Nah, that would be too crazy to believe. It's way more plausible that Ford is just screwing with people on a personal level, cuz it's fun to troll the forums.
I had a new espresso machine for my coffee shop all set to be delivered in early May. I placed the order in early April. My goal was to have it installed in time for my team to be used to the machine and operating it with no difficulty in time for our reopening in late May.

It didn't get delivered until early June.

There are a whole hell of a lot less parts in an espresso machine than a truck.

And I won't bore you with the numerous stories I could tell you about supplies my contractors needed being out of stock due to the pandemic.

I could have gotten pissed at the contractors like some people here are with Ford. But I knew they wanted to get the job done as quickly as they could so they could get paid. And it's the same thing with Ford. They don't get paid until we take possession of the truck.

I'm anxious to get rid of my 31 year old piece of crap truck. But I know getting pissed ain't gonna make that happen any sooner. So I'll wait patiently.

Hmm, so what your saying is I might have a chance with my barebones hybrid XLT with only a hitch option?
I’m on the same boat. Maybe we have a chance this week.

I'm getting stubborn in my old age. I will wait....and wait...and wait. A deal is a deal. Now I don't care if I don't get it until next summer. It is better not to offer anything at all than to offer something and take it back.
