Im not sure how its going to work in the Maverick. But with the Bronco they are focusing on FE to try and get them out before anything else. FE maybe the reason the rest of the commodities are limited it has caused the Broncos to be pushed further out since they are reserving the hardest to get things for FE.
Let’s hope you are right!!

So do we think the spray-in bedliner that is included in the XLT Luxury Pack is what is causing the constraint on that option? If so, why not produce the truck with the package sans the bedliner and offer as a DIO that can be scheduled after delivery?
EXACTLY!! That is what I was trying to find out in mid-June before I ordered. Maybe someone at @FORD can float this option up the food chain and get some production out. Give the Luxury Package buyers a credit towards our purchase price to "Delete" the Spray-in from our orders. We can then go to an aftermarket provider to get it done ourselves (the dealer being one of many providers, of course). One point to note is that I went to a Line-X dealer in mid-June. He told me at that time they were experiencing material delays, and they were substituting a different material from their usual. I really wouldn't mind getting the Luxury Package without the liner and just get the liner done later when the material comes available. This could be a WIN-WIN for the Customer and @FORD. Whaddya think @FORD ....?

I placed my order with dealer on 8/27 for the XLT, Hybrid, Luxury package. I just assumed I'd have at least a 6 month wait...maybe longer, so this is my mind set.

I'm going to wait this thing out and get what I want.
Me too - I placed my order on 7/19 with no news. I will accept the tonneau cover later (or decline at delivery) but I ordered a Lariat Lux Hybrid so I have to wait it out.

Dropped the spray-in via an email to my salesperson. Salesman notified me he took care of it, but I'd like to verify he did. I've asked a couple times for my order number and haven't gotten a response. Guess I'll have to make a trip into the dealership tomorrow. Does anyone know if i should expect an updated order email from Ford to show the change?

I have yet to see someone post that their FE is up for build so I'm not sure i would agree. Everything about my build is delayed..hybrid FE lariat...dealer told me October...I think closer to March 2022.

More and More is seems Ford was again unprepared for popularity of this roll out. Can't believe there are no tonneau covers at all. They can't find anyone to make a bed mat. Yes I realize there is a rubber shortage.

Bronco 2.0 all over again.

I don't know what this information means and would prefer not to interpret. Can someone explain what this means or may mean in any practical sense for maverick orders?

If you go to the build list, it shows a First Edition with Ecoboost with a Vin already from a 6-30 order. I just don't think many people come back to put the info on there.

Well this is a bit frustrating, after my dealer rep told me there are no constraints on my build, which includes the trifold hard tonneau cover.

I was told the same by my dealer rep. I ordered the trifold also. The only thing I wasn't able to get during production were the mud flaps.

I'm not in a huge hurry for my Maverick, but do hope some of these supply chain issues can be resolved, or at least improved.

I wanted the drop-in but heeded his advice and went with the spray in.
I ordered with the drop-in back in June, but in early August I heard the same thing from my dealer. He advised me to cancel the drop-in and get the spray-in.

I think the set of constraints keeps changing. It's certainly possible that if I changed my order now, the spray-in would be available again when my truck is built. I think I'm going to sit tight for a while.
