I live in snow country and have had my Maverick for 2 years and have never personally filled the reservoir. I do take the truck in for regular service where it probably gets topped off and it seems fine in between.
Took mine through once. I have the clear bra protecting the front end and it did get scratched on the bumper. So, haven't done it since and hand wash it at the car wash. Only takes me 15 min to wash and towel dry.
Why would anyone get a sunroof and then avoid using it?? I constantly use mine, mostly not fully open but with the partial open option with the back sliding window open. The best.
Thanks for posting. That's a lot of miles but looks like your Mav is holding up pretty well. I've had my Lariat since Feb 2022 and almost 20k miles later (mostly hauling our camper) is still running and looking great.
That's really interesting, I hadn't thought about experimenting with changing drive modes too. Hopefully it's not a problem with the truck doing that on the fly.
Thanks, I completely agree with high quality gas and watching the speed makes all the difference. We just came back from a trip to the Midwest and was pleasantly surprised to see a pure gas /no ethanol option at the pumps. And not at exorbitantly high prices either. Unheard of in "progressive"...
Thanks. The profile of mine is maybe not quite as aero as this one but it's new and rounded on the upper half specifically to better deflect wind. I expect there is still some resistance regardless of the design but agree aero is important.
