NGL, i'm conflicted about being scheduled to build at the end of this month. Who knows if Ford will stick to that build date! My nightmare fuel right now is that because I have a build week, I can't put in an order for a MY23. But if that build gets pushed back, I may be stuck on the wrong side of both timetables.

Anyone else worried about this? Not being able to place an order, but also not getting built this year?

You can place an order if you have a build week. It'll just be a new order for a 23. But your 22 is still going to be built. What am I missing?

there’s plenty of evidence on this forum that even if you have a VIN, you can get pushed back. And with a hard stop coming up, it’s feasible you get pushed over the edge.

No it’s not. VINs see year locked. You got a vin, you get a 22. It’s simple and has been explained thousands and thousands of times on this forum.

They open up on 9/15. New orders and Carryover orders are entered together. It's up to dealers to prioritize the 22 orders by giving them a higher (lower number) priority code.

Chapman in Horsham has been trying to prioritize older orders even during 22 production by adjusting priority codes. I expect they’ll do the same during the rollover. Our rollovers will go to PC10 and the new orders will have higher codes.

Age limit?? Not sure what you mean. Age to legally buy a vehicle would be regulated by your state. I hope I get mine before I get too old to drive though..........

I am 79.5 years old and they took my DL and said nothing, but that was over a year ago. It won't be long before I won't be able to remember to go pick it up, judging from observing some of my friends!

Ford could do a check and hold allocations for dealers with priority 10 2023 order which did not have a 2022 order, but will they?

@Ford Motor Company can you at the very least advise regional to give the unfulfilled ‘22 to ‘23 orders PC1 or 2 to ensure they’re not just lost in the shuffle?
