MY22 to MY23 Order Private Offer Transition Problem

MY22 XLT Eco boost with Lux Package and Copilot was placed on 12/08/22 with COVP verification. I was rolled over to a new order placed on 09/16/22. No private offer was generated. After calls to dealer and Ford Customer support it turns out my MY22 order is showing as status 02 unbalanced and my MY23 is showing as status 19. The dealer does not how to get the private offer and the Ford Customer Service person is also confused. The Ford Customer service person directed me to the Dealers "Sales and Inventory Specialist" to generate the private offer.

Anyone have this issue or any ideas how to get the private offer assigned to my MY23 rollover order ?

Correction :

The Ford Customer service person directed me to the Dealers "Sales and Inventory Specialist" to generate the private offer.
In a conversation with Ford, they told me this was someone that the Dealer would have to reach out to, as in that was a Ford employee not a dealer employee. The Ford specialist would be able to see you ordered a '22 with COVP that didn't get manufactured, and create the appropriate private offer for your '23.

My situation was different, I thought I had a wrong offer, because I was given one for a Ecoboost, but then it turned out I had a VIN for both 22 orders, so no idea why Ford gave me the offer.

I would also push the dealer to give you priority 10, but I know that can be difficult depending on the dealer.

Thanks for the response. I will continue to work with my dealer to hopefully get a private offer generated. I have asked to be bumped to a order status 10 without any success so far. :cry::cry:

What a mess this ordering has been. I really want my custom ordered Maverick, but the wait times have been frustrating and the conversion process chaotic. As a loyal ford customer of 30 years, I am beyond disappointed but after almost a year of waiting I am still not ready to throw in the towel so I am staying the course and will continue to call and email ...

we are in the same boat im 67 and we have had over 30 fords through the years, BUT this may be the last, we shall see.one year and no Maverick, we did get the private offer and reordered same xlt hybrid bare bones,got conformation from ford 10/15/22 at 10pm and the dealer paperwork I have a copy of is a code 10, we shall see!!

How do you find out if you have a private offer? I am a rollover order from 2022.
I’d like to know as well. I’ve tried on the chat but they can’t see this info. Said to call in to the New Vehicle Support team at 800-334-4375. Haven’t tried yet.

Sounds about like the first time I called in when they first announced the private offer. Seems like guy was just talking in circles and making it up as he went.
Pretty sure you got bad info (as expected) because there are quite a number of folks on here which have said they received their private offer “certificate number” and obviously they done have a ‘23 VIN yet.

The dealership does nothing to get the private offer. It is supposed to happen automatically on Ford's end. The dealer is supposed to leave the unscheduled 22 order in the system. There is a number for a dealer to call if one of their customers who should be eligible for the private offer doesn't get it.....

If you get answers, please let us know. I'm in a similar boat. Unscheduled MY22 order, haven't heard anything in the way of private offer...

@fordvideoguy can you provide any insight? How do we, the customer, know if we have a private offer? Mail, email, communication through the dealer? Each private offer was supposed to be customer specific, not dealer specific, right?
